  1. I know plenty of gunsmiths from the forums. Matt C, Derek from Millennium custom, Bob B., etc' but I'm not sure they deal with international orders or SV parts. Let me refine me question...any SV gunsmiths out there that you know? maybe some of them deal with international customers? The purpose of course is IPSC/USPSA. Cy'.
  2. Hi everyone, Do you know of a gunsmith in the US who would be willing to build a custom gun with several customized tops and parts? Now, here's the catch - I live overseas. I'd order through SV but I know they don't like mixing parts from OEM manufacturers, and that's exactly what I intend on doing. Not a simple project, and should be costly, but there's a lot of paperwork to fill, so... Anyone? Cheers.
  3. Docter is well worth the money. In terms of quality and service, both in Germany and the US.
  4. I have been using SPS grips for a few years and have been working with STI and SV grips too(all polymer). The trigger bow of SV is almost identical to SPS, and STI's is shorter. Not all the grips are 100% the same. I believe that like SPS, both SV and STI have several 'generations' grips. Newer grips with slight improvements...etc'.
  5. Beautiful. Remrakable work. HBE leatherworks?
  6. Good day, I don't think you have enough metal on the front to add a red dot sight. In addition, I have little faith in red dot sights mounted directly on slides. I've seen too many die, while the ones mounted kept on going up until this day. I would buy an extra red dot or even more. In my opinion, mount is the way to go.
  7. Accessed the website a few days ago. The server is probably down.(Dns timeout).

    STS mount

What's wrong with the Arredondo mount? I've also made a few docter mounts, taking the cmore mounts in the market as an example.
  9. Awesome! I simply love the 3000 series.....
  10. Definately. 3 Pieces of foam, including an under.
  11. Sorry for reviving an old post...had to share. Switched to an Arredondo mount after sending my docter to Germany for a quick fix :

  13. Received that video via mail, and it was stated there the kid's 6 years old.
  14. IMI no longer maintains/makes the Jericho. It used to receive parts from Tanfoglio. Jericho=Baby Eagle in the US. Nowdays, the Jericho, barak-sp21, etc' is manufactured/maintained by IWI(which is also receiving parts from Tanfoglio). Even Bul Transmark had its share of maintaining the baby eagle. The majority of Jerichos around have safeties/decockers on the body and not the slide. When IMI maintained the Jericho, it had a wonderful line of IPSC models, some of them quite unique. A few compensator models, enlarged safeties, flat single action triggers, several gripi types, you name it. And that was years ago. It was and still a workhorse, although I claim that's the case with metal versions and not the polymer version. A custom jericho, well built and maintained, is really fun to shoot.
  15. I'm very happy with my current docter(sight plus II Gen 4). the 7 MOA dot is bright. It's going to cost more than the current model(40E more), with the current price of 400$, it's not going to be any cheaper.
  16. Update : The sight will be available in Oct'/Nov'. Mine is pre-ordered. It is a one piece sight, totally water proof, and has 3 different illumination modes through slight tapping on the front/top arch of the lense(there's a magnetic detector).
  17. Received a new brochure from Docter Germany. I don't know if Dean already sells the new model....ordered one from Germany, and will report my feedback : DOCTERsight_III_D_GB_LR1.pdf
  18. Limcat has a new design - mag pouches I use Guga.

    Woah!

The majority of tanks can be destroyed when hit from the "belly". You have to clear IED's with what you have in the field. Also, I'm sure there's a policy and a procedure for what we are seeing.
