  1. Since I've never installed a rear sight before....anything I should know in particular? Red/Green/Blue loctite? Punch it out with wood/plastic? Alignment? CHeers
  2. Update : Received the parcel today. Was quite eager to replace the pin and it's spring...opened the package...and to my surprise - A brand new trijicon rear sight!!! Talk about customer service...
  3. There used to be an application called Sniper for Symbian 60 series/java enabled phone. Never tried it though.
  4. Yep, grip tape can be seen in the images on their website. I wonder about magwells, and compatibility with other mags.
  5. You could always get some SPS tubes and fine tune them. Hsmith or Beven.
  6. 9mm limited(standard+modified)and open.
  7. HSMITH, What tubes would you recommend? SV? STI? Follower+spring kit? Grams? Bollen? Thanks
  8. Hi, Anyone tried the new RHT ultra mag tubes? (RHT=Rescomp=Cr-Speed)
  9. A couple of emails and the parts from STI are on their way. Superb! Great customer service. Again - thanks for the assistance everyone.
  10. Well...a wooden toothpick did the job. Do you know if STI would be willing to send a replacement spring? or do I have to start searching for one?
  11. Hey everyone, Thanks for the great replies. Tried Gary's method. The spring that locks the pin in place is broken. Could only get the part that broke out though Now I need a replacement spring AND to find a way to get what's left of the spring out through that hole.
  12. Attached an image : Tried using green loctite, but to no avail. After several hundred rounds, keeps coming out. Suggestions?
  13. That's bloody beautiful....simply put! I just adore the Caspian receivers.........wish I could get my hands on one.
  14. How do you get a mold of the firearm? do you simply wrap and press it between the folded kydex?
  15. Nice job. About Blade-Tech - I've been dealing with them for years, and nothing but praise. Speak to Bobby McGee, he's their Customer service manager and also handles tech support. A great shooter, too.
  16. I like the SIG designs, but could never stand the DA/SA trigger. There's nothing like a fine tuned SA trigger!!!
  17. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favour of metal. You can do wonders with it, especially when it comes to design(CNC or by hand). I'll always prefer metal to plastic. But let's take an open gun for example, which is already heavy by nature, a heavy comp' in front, mount, scope such as a c-more...etc'. Add a stainless grip, a fully loaded 170mm mag, and it becomes much heavier, for good or bad? I'm sure the guys and gals at SV - know what they're doing.
  18. Oh...like a "Wing". Thanks!
  19. Remarkable work mate'. What is that attached to the cmore? a *thumb rest [generic]*/thumb rest? And below is an extended/welded slide stop?
  20. The only thing that bothers me, is the weight of aluminum/stainless grips. Even though the alu' is lighter than the stainless, it's still much heavier than the plastic ones - according to what was written here. I have no doubt it would catch on, a new niche, but still, do we really want our guns to be heavier?
