I take it the E2 grips can be put on the Elite Stainless? Is the E2 grip a slightly different profile than the grip on a P250/P320? They feel different to me.
Thanks for the replys.
The P226 Enhanced Elite or the P226 Elite Stainless w/E2 grip. Shooting Limited, Open, and now Single Stack so I'm use to the 40 plus ounce guns. I've owned XDM's and M&P's and had now problem with managing recoil with them. So you think the extra 8oz's of the Elite Stainless would help or hurt vs the alloy frame? I just recently shot my first 226 which had the alloy frame and I felt recoil was very minimal.
On a side note I have put a couple hundred rounds through a Carry size P320. Awesome little gun! Just want to use the 226.
Bullseye. With the coated Bayou or SNS Cast bullets. Very little smoke, meters fine in my Dillion 550, easily makes major PF, and very affordable.
I like it better than 231, Titegroup, WST, and Clays.
So where is the love for good ol Bullseye. So far I've used 231, Titegroup, Clays, Bullseye, and WST in .45 all with coated lead bullets. I like Bullseye the best. Clays is the cleanest but the rest are about the same as far as being dirty.
Just picked up a brand new Trojan .45 for $927.00 plus $30.00 shipping on gun broker. Guess everyone was sleeping.
The fit on this one is nothing less than awesome!
I would save your hard earned dollars and buy the Dan Wesson "Heritage". IMO you can not find a higher quality American made 1911 for the price. Can pick them up for around $1074.00.
You won't be sorry.
Got 1000 rounds through it now and still working. Keeping fingers crossed. Really like that sight.Hate to keep hearing this. I've got 2500 rounds or so with new board and still working.
Thats only 1-2 weeks worth of practice and matches.
I agree that's not very many rounds but it's all I can input for now. But I wish I had the time and money to shoot 5000 rounds a month too. Jealous for sure.
