  1. I had the same issue. I reached out to them and they replied quickly. You can track your package using the usps website using your tracking number provided in your order.
  2. As the items are coming from the Netherlands and are subject to the Customs duty, did you receive a duty bill from Customs when your package arrived? I'm waiting for the "surprise" duty bill.
  3. Ordered on BF last week and got an email confirmation and tracking number the next day although it did say it was shipping Tuesday. I'm having difficulty tracking the package on the website but since it's coming international, I'll try to be patient. I think the International Parcel Post tracking may be slow like USPS.
  4. I placed my order for them. I'll fit them and see how it goes. If I do not like them, it was not a huge investment anyway and I can always swap for something else.
  5. Has anyone used the EGW Practical Extractor and does anyone have any feedback on it? They discontinued their regular one so the options are the new practical and the HD one. I'm considering picking up one of these but wanted to get some feedback before placing an order.
  6. Interesting, I would be interested in hearing more about the durability of the coating. I would be interested in their CPII Dusk when I finally work everything out.
  7. The hard chrome on my Edge is still running great after thousands and thousands of rounds. The finish looks brand new. I wish that it came in a color other than silver though. The only drawback of a finish like hard chrome is that if there is something you do not like and would like adjusted, you would have to get it refinished. I have a new pistol being built and I'm just going to consider bluing it for now until I get it 100% the way I like it. At that point, I may consider a more durable finish.
  8. You should be able to run factory with no issues. I suspect it may be the feed lips depending on how many rounds you have thru the mags.
  9. What mags are you using? I have a buddy with a PM9 and the Wilson Combat old style 9mm magazines. He had an issue with it over inserting due to the mag lips bending out of shape. My guess is that the mag lips are a bit thin and when loaded to capacity will eventually start bending. It turned his gun into a jam-o-matic. He checks his mags before and after each match to ensure they are in spec. It's a bit of a hassle and I think he will be purchasing the redesigned Wilson ETM mags. I would get reliable mags but unfortunately it seems the only way to get reliable 9mm mags that work with your gun is to try a bunch of different ones. I have a Spartan 9mm which runs fine with the Tripp and Metalform.
  10. If you want new, Double Alpha as a discount of 5 to 15% off.
  11. They are not legal for SS which is why it's uses are limited. If they changed the rules, I'm certain someone would be using it in SS.

  14. Best bet is to check against the official gauge. Sucks getting bumped into open because your measurement is different from the gauge.
  15. The number of contact points are the same with the sight tracker as a non sight tracker if done right. As for building one with a new upper, it may be easier for them to do to get a tight fit. If you change caliber, you would need a new upper anyway.
  16. My buddy is doing one now. Just buy a regular slide and mill it. Fitting it is a bit of a pain though but a gunsmith should be able to do it.
  17. The uppers are the same on a 2011 as the 1911. Are you referring to a sight tracker on a 1911? You can but you could only use it competitively in Limited 10 with 10 round magazines. You can try Limited or Open but the limited capacity would be a severe disadvantage. It would still be a cool piece though if it's a range toy only.
  18. The answer to which one is easier is personal. Each person may find one platform easier than another person. Being a terrible shooter when I started, I blamed the Glock for my mediocre performance but upon switching to a 2011, I wasn't necessarily faster. The 2011 did fall into my hand easier but I'm certain that if I trained as hard with the Glock as I trained with my 2011, I'm certain I could make up the difference. It's entirely up to you what platform you "feel" works better for you. Try both and see what is more natural. Once you decide which one works for you, keep practicing with it and you'll be competitive with it.
  19. Nic Taylor has a good video on how to select the right spring rate. I would start with the recommended rate. I'm sure there are tons of suggested rates out there but I settled on 13 lbs for major.
  20. I think this depends on what spring you are running. If you are using too light of a spring, there is always the possibility of beating up the frame. Aside from that, I would swap the springs out to tune the gun for the different loads that you are using so the gun will cycle as flat as possible. Springs are relatively cheap anyway and the time to swap the spring isn't that long.
  21. I'm getting an easily reloadable 20. I can cram 21 in a couple of them, but it's too tight to reload. 4G2 pad with Grams springs and followers. Does it fit the gauge? I had to bend the lips that hold the basepads slightly upward in order to get it to fit the gauge. I can also use the SNL base pad with the lips bent and that will also fit the gauge. Grams guts and 20 reloadable. A few of them hold 21 but it's tight.
  22. I've taken the TTI basepads off my 140mm tubes and put it on my 126mm tubes. Depending on your magwell, they may not seat without some work. It definitely did not work for me with the Dawson ICE magwell. That may be the reason why no one has tried it.
  23. Yes. I had quite a few rounds not pass the case gauge test due to the glock bulge. U-die fixed that.
  24. If the max OAL is 1.169, why does CZ use a much shorter length? I know that most people do not load that long nor does factory ammo come that long but I figure manufacturers would set their barrels to the max possible length unless the thought process was to have it reamed to the exact load. What type of bullet shape are you using? I was going with round but I was told that the FP may be a good option.
  25. In the instance that I use factory ammo that has a shorter OAL, would accuracy suffer after the barrel is reamed? I have a ton of factory ammo still left.
