  1. I suggest you start with a CZ TS extra long FP so you can use the CGW reduced power firing pin spring, I still haven't found a good spring for my pin.
  2. You didn't sell it did you??? Frame safety Jerichos are like Stock IIs without the $1,000 premium.
  3. The Baby Eagle has the smallest grip of all the CZ75 pattern pistols.
  4. I take a few from bunches in varying stages of ripeness so they're not all ripe on the same day.
  5. Let me check for you later today to make sure the standard length one sits exactly flush.
  6. Just trying to work up some good Karma in the hopes of seeing my money again.
  7. The worst part is that my wife is going to a late dinner with her dad and brothers tonight so I'm putting the boys to bed solo.
  8. Thanks for the great info CHA-LEE, do you have pictures of all these slides? Intuitively everything said in this thread makes sense, especially the idea of slide weight at the back of the slide inducing rotation at the wrist.
  9. I fell asleep in my sons' room at 8, wake up at 9:30 stagger into my room where my wife asks about my day. I get all revved up ranting about telecom companies and how jacked up they are; meanwhile she falls asleep so I go fit the rear sight on my Limited. I try to go to bed at 11 but now I'm hungry so I go eat a bowl of cereal and try again: nothing! So here I am on BE's and shopping for parts online at 12:53
  10. I dated a girl in college who had never pumped gas before... On my way into the store I grab a loose cart in the parking lot, if there are one or two more in my path I'll grasp those too. It doesn't cost me but a few seconds and it serves "the greater good" in the shopping community
  11. I just loaded the same bullet at the same PF with WST, 700X and Clays: the first two felt about the same, but the Clays was much softer. I've never shot VV but I hear it's pretty great too.
  12. I have the two sights out of the gun tonight and here's what I measure at the base of the dovetail: CZ TS LPA Cut: 9.33mm EAA Super Sight cut: 8.85mm
  13. How big is the hole in your slide? Are you willing to drill it out?
  14. I use a long slide guide rod to index my comp on my Open gun, no problems with binding.
  15. I filed a complaint a week ago with the Postal Inspection Service and emailed the Chief of Police in Flemingsburg, but have not heard back from either. At this point I would be surprised to see my money again. If you ever run across this guy it's probably best not to do business with him: **
  16. Yes, I relieved the bottoms of the grips a little on the inside for the mag well. On my first set I just cut them to length, but I could feel the gap between the bottom of the grips and the angle on the mag well so I used them on my Tanfoglio and draped these over the mag well for more support at the bottom of my hand.
  17. I just switched to the factory rubber SP01 grips for my TS, modded a new comp and realized the last picture of mine in this thread was quite a few mods ago:
  18. What you see pictured is Henning's bigger, fancier one! But it is made to be a direct replacement for the factory one.
  19. Match frame on the left, Hunter frame on the right: Mag well bolted to the Match frame: You can see it's shifter back slightly: Compared to the Hunter: but it still works as intended: I though about filling in the bottom of the hole in the back of the Match frame with weld and re drilling it a hair further forward so it would line up perfectly, but that's low on my priority list.
  20. I took some pictures of my SP01 grips on my TS this morning: And if all else fails, just convert it to an Open gun! I also undercut my trigger guard, but did not undercut the beaver tail. When I was shooting precision pistol I learned a lot about tuning the grip to meet the natural point of aim; we used big wooden grips and carved them this way and that way so that you could close your eyes, aim the pistol and when you opened them, the sights would be aligned. I used the same principle when cutting the frame of my TS. At first the front sight would be high in the rear notch, so I undercut the trigger guard until the sights were perfectly aligned when I opened my eyes. My 10M air pistol:
  21. Me too. A major builder told me last year that over 90% of the open guns he builds are now 9MAJOR. Perhaps the poll would swing that way if it excluded pistols over five years old? 9mm certainly seems to have the inertia today.
  22. That's not my pistol, just a picture from CZC to show the mag well; I've felt the thin grips but don't like the feel. I started with Hogue finger groove grips on my TS and they provided a secure grip, but it was in consistent on the draw. I cut the grooves off but wasn't happy until I tried the factory rubber grips.
  23. I wound use the guide rod from a Tanfoglio, its a larger diameter with a flat end which sits flush with the slide:
