  1. For 3 gun there is a reason most shooters do not shoot the CZ. . The safety lacks a positive Detent and I've seen them come off from just laying them on their side. I vote for Glock 34 for the simple reason that you can never be DQ for not having the pistol on safe.
  2. I absolutely love the Extreme Shooters grips. I have big fat hands but love the rounded front strap area that Jason does. There are other options but Jason goes above and beyond.
  3. For USPSA that a whole 5 shooters max in the US (OK there may be one or two more but really no one gets paid to shoot)
  4. I do applaud STI for bringing a nicely enhanced model to market. I would just be a bit apprehensive with shooting 5" Limited in .40 at major or one of the new Open gun at Major. The slide may be a bit too lightened in the nose and I think you will see some slide cracking there. I know STI has a great warranty program, but it sucks when you get a new gun shoot a few matches and have to send it back. Hopefully I'm wrong. I do think the 5" in 9mm would make a kick ass 3 gun pistol though!
  5. True I do believe that stage quality is better than quantity, but I think a major 3 gun match should require more than 366 rounds spread over 3 guns and 3 days (2014 SMM3G). USPSA Multigun last year was 577 rounds over the three guns. For some reason I remember more three gun required stages but I was wrong. I love both matches but just wish we could shoot more for the high entrance fees. :-)
  6. I agree with Kurt. The USPSA Multigun Nats has become my favorite 3 gun match. Now I live in AZ and haven't traveled to the east coast or mid west so can't give a direct comparison. The stage design, round count etc make it simply Bad Ass. SMM3 Gun match is easily second, but the only reason why it isn't first is round count. To me shooting all three guns on pretty much every stage and high round counts with each gun is simply more fun and where USPSA Multi Hun bears SMM3G.
  7. The camp for $449.00 out the door is a steal. Camp us usually about 60-70 more and who cares what it looks like if it's free!
  8. I'm pretty sure Max won't switch to open. At least not this year.
  9. So sorry for everyone loss at Dillon. I was lucky enough to shoot with Mike a few times and he always made everyone feel welcomed.
  10. Here is Max either on or past the 180. I think he is past it but then again the Super Squad rarely gets DQ for stuff like this.
  11. I know she got a new gun sponsor not that long ago. Would never use a gun I didn't have ultimate faith in at a World Shoot.
  12. Don't foget Sweeney in standard. He is a badass and was shooting in a different rotation but don't be surprised if he ends up in front of Sevigny and top 5.
  13. Biggest thing is KC shooting the Limcat/Caspian. Is he no longer with Glock?
  14. Jard non adjustable for the money are hard to beat. Cheapest by far and very durable. They do have some pre travel but I have always liked that in a rifle as I don't try to stab the shot.
  15. I agree leave things the way they are. If anything I think IPSC and USPSA should pretty much share all common equipment rules.
  16. These are the new STI grips that have been shipping for about a year. Generally the front toe of the magwell area has been radius end to match a magwell as well. These were redesigned when STI had a new mold for the injection molded grips redone. On the old grips quite often the sear spring would walk slightly left to right and sometimes fall off the sear legs. This cloves that problem.
  17. I really don't know how they can pull off Area 2 and the SMM3G within a month of each other but I have heard that is what they are planning. My main concern would be getting RO's to work them.
  18. They are using the old style Cheely from the original RTS, which you then have to mill the one side a bit lower to access the up and down buttons. I know that when the bought the last bunch from Matt he was going to scrap the rest of the mounts he had, but I would contact him to see if he had any more left. It does see, like a very nice optic and I would choose it over the overpriced RTS2.

    RTS 2

    Probably the Chinese quality control?
  20. Well I called Vortex and they said it definitely isn't supposed to move like that and to send it in. I am going to shoot it on Friday to see if anything odd happens. Thanks for all of the help.
  21. I couldn't do that Dale, but I do appreciate it sooo much! I'm sure it probably doesn't affect anything but ill know after Friday. I'll probably call Vortex tomorrow just to see what they say :-)
  22. Ok it's a focus ring!! I am a pistol shooter what do I know. I am going to shoot in in Friday and move it to and from and see if I get any impact changes, etc. I don't want to be without for Multigun Nats.
  23. Anyone able to grab yours and twist it? Hey I'm talking about your Vortex here! Any help will be appreciated.
