  1. I've heard many theories and take this for what it is... ...The fixed barrel seems to help ..the bore axis ...it is a well made machine and engineered as such Personally I think it is the "perfect storm" of design and manufacturing. I just wish the M8 and M13 weren't so high $$$. How's the heel mag release for you? I too need to pick up a trade in before the prices creep up and the good ones dissapear. Nice Gun! Maybe I'm biased... :popcorn1: Go get that M13 now- That is a sweet Rifle
  2. The steel frame? The grip angle? The nice factory trigger? Bore Axis - All help (IMHO) Little more Sight radius would be nice but it's a lota fun on the range. I going to drag mine (M13) out for the Indiana State match - Should be a good time. "characteristics available to shoot in production " check out the CZ's -
  3. This action would have earned you a procedural. Gun has to be Empty to leave a Mag on the ground. (Slide locked is not required but firearm must be empty) The general thinking is that if the slide is locked back the mag is empty - dump it - slide not locked back stow the mag.

  10. Get it and keep it. I prefer Nill grips on the P7M8 to make the grip thicker. Mag pouches are an issue with the M8 due to the design of the mag. (I have not found a mag pouch I like for the M8 for speed reloads) The Trigger on the P7 series has a long reset when compared to more common Production guns. VERY limited aftermarket accessories. Even Mags can be hard to find. I like the P7M13 for production - the extra 2 rounds come in handy, much easier to reload. Lots of fun. - I will playing in production using an M13 this year - Hope to see you at the range......
  11. Thanx to BoD for stepping up to the challange and obvious scrutiny. I'm here to shoot.
  12. lol 2008 - Production and Single Stack Steel212 - Come on in the Water is fine Double Ninja and counting
  13. He did say 31 inch waist I believe he added the 31" after my post - and yes it might be a tight fit on such a Lean shooter.. Glad "WE" don't have such worries
  14. Just an FYI - the belt feed is a great idea but for me it places the mags to close together for my taste when using SS mags. On low reload stages I found myself pulling two mags out to allow for cleaner reloads. (or moving Safariland singles to the front) I still use it for Steel Challenge - and for drills and classes (Help keep up with the Fat Guns) Would get another one yes - is my first choice for SS no I like the Singles by Safariland and also use Kydex made by a local shooter. (Thanx Dean) PS - I still have room left (
