  1. And now for the comments from the people mentioned.... Calling Vince, Jim and Flex....
  2. Personally I would not like to see the targets mixed at WSXIV. It would look...unprofessional (for the lack of a better word). Due to the political circumstances around or great sport I would also like to see classic targets used before we use metrics. The WS is a big public and media covered event. So all efforts to keep it as "correct" as possible to make the future easier should be made. MHO
  3. You forgot: Gelukkige Kersfees Vince, same to you and your family! And leave some rum for your guests....
  4. Then that explains the shirt costs....
  5. I have seen gloves powered by battery in the Frankonia Jagd catalogue. They were thin thermal gloves and the batt straps to the back of the wrist. Apparently good for a couple of hours. Will see if I can find the item again....
  6. Other way 'round: US$2977/74 shirts (JN below)...so lets say 80 shirts... Thats ±US$37/shirt For 100 shirts we're down to ±US$29/shirt Are these fair prices for shirts over there? It's an honest Q, since that would be real expensive over here...

    Yolo

Was that RO trying to help with the shoot (fill in misses, etc... ). He seems to draw on his own command....????
  8. Cost saving and variety...but mainly to find out if anyone would be interested in using them and if, under what circumstances and for what purpose/scenario. Maybe some new ideas might be created by adding this simple target. I have not used them in rifle matches yet. We've got a tournament coming up in Feb '05 - maybe I'll add them to see what the general feeling is.
  9. Yep...he even told people Dimebag/Pantera stole their lyrics from him...total fruitloop... Apparently he was a Marine - got kicked or something, did some time in a mental facility, played with imaginary dogs....a typical example of a moving target....
  10. And behold how easily one can be distracted by a well trained person from the Q at hand... Maybe we should get the SBT to pose for "How to..." pics and the Bintang Girls to do the checks....
  11. So, what you guys are saying is that someone made some money here....
  12. Mine are shown on pages 41 and 42, but yes, those are the ones I'm talking about....
  13. And if I remember correctly JM won the shoot-off against EG at WSIII.... What was your prob again??? Cool reloads!!!
  14. There does not appear great interest in these targets....
  15. And I still have not gotten feedback on adding the A4/A3 targets to the HG rules....

    Stage diagrams

I haven't played around with this too much, but have seen others do a decent job and it is for free: StageCAD I use Word only using the templates mentioned above and some others and so far it works quite good.
  17. As long as it's from you and not your phone....
  18. Lets see, the last shirts I bought for a match were N$130 for golf shirt + embroiding...thats ±US$25/shirt So US$2977 at ±US$25/shirt would give you about 120 shirts excluding any discounts.....thats quite a number of range staff, unless each got 2 for the duration of the match...which I doubt. I think the math is right...now, what do shirts cost over there on the other side of the salty pond and what are staff numbers like at your Area matches???
  19. Now I know why some people only want to see family once a year....at Christmas....on a photo....
  20. For level III and higher matches I have found the if the same RO(s) and CRO stick to one range you get the best consistency for the entire match. On level I and II, due to their low CoF counts, it is sufficient to thoroughly brief the travelling RO(s) for Constancy. At the matches I have attended the squads were equal or more than the amount of CoF's, thus making the burden of "Where do we get all the ©RO(s) from?" smaller with stationary personnel. My 0.02
  21. I'll stick you for dinner. Next week Wednesday at 19:00 OK? Will be the first time I order because I now what it is instead of by a number I havn't had before
  22. Happy belated B-Day...hope it was great for you and that you liver and kidneys are glad its only once a year....
  23. Final straw yesterday afternoon. Went for an Ice-cream at a local Italian restaurant and ordered a bottle of water. The waiters brings Italian spring water (first f@#$king piss-off. Why do we need imported water! Please do not support local products!!!!!!!! A$$holes....Yes I told them....). Anyway, I read the label since I'm a bit curious. The label is printed in Italian, Spanish, German, English and another language I can't remember. The spelling and grammar mistakes in both English and German were so astronomical that I needed to read both languages to figure out what they want to say, which neither of the two said. This is not meant to dump on Italy, but if any bl*&dy country wants to export anything the first thing they should do is get the F$#@king language right. Just because we started to accept eastern manuals with eastern products does not make it OK for the rest of the world to show us what Idiots they are. Have seen this on German products (English label), American products (English and German labels), RSA product, etc.....
