  1. I personally don't have any, but if they are from shooters connection they must be good. Try to have the spacer welded in. make sure you get 2. Always good to have a backup.
  2. Dave, speak to Butler, Chestnut, and Hand, they all use autocomp. 7.1-7.4 depending on oal seems to be the recipe.
  3. A "major" load in 45acp with a semi wad cutter is your best bet for pins. Best bet is to hit the pin dead cent in the meaty part of the pin. When the bullet hits it, it "should" fall off the table. Regular rounds nose IMO never worked that well. JHP's are pretty good too. Also had good succes using 40s&w and 9 major loads. But 45acp SWC is the king.
  4. Best news I've heard in weeks! Can't wait! Need to redeem my teams surprising, but disappointing 18th place finish.
  5. Slapshot Blazing Saddles The Way of The Gun Heat Fist of Legend Star Wars Trilogy(original 3 films) The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Godfather 1 & 2 Dazed and Confused PCU Animal House Blues Brothers Bad Boys (Sean Penn version) Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns Black Hawk Down Shawshank Redemption Reservoir Dogs Clerks Legends of the Fall Dog Day Afternoon Boondock Saints Spartan Excalibur 300 Dusk Till Dawn Old School Old Boy Any John Woo/Chow Yun Fat films Shawn of the Dead Braveheart Cannonball Run 1 & 2 Last Samurai Carlito's Way To name a few
  6. I think you also have to take into consideration that some people view there guns as man-jewelry. They want everyone to ogle at their gun on their hip and be the talk of the range. Me personally, I prefer to have a "sleeper", might not look great but it runs like a raped ape. However it all depends on the person shooting the gun. A GM shooting a lower priced open gun is going to beat an average shooter with a big $ gun. I would love to have a shiny new Limcat or Brazos open gun, but the price and wait is a bit much right now. Got lucky and found a great deal on a JL Hardy. I am totally happy with it and 7k+ rounds in a year and a 1/2 and no issues whatsoever I can't complain.
  7. Right away, as soon as my bank account has numbers with 6+zeros at the end! yeah i forgot AZ is Beverly Hills The zeros will be for the AC bill and shooting components.
  8. Right away, as soon as my bank account has numbers with 6+zeros at the end!
  9. if you add IDPA we have 28 Matches a month : ) ... i love AZ That's great! But what single man has the time and resources to shoot half of the matches there? All of the matches in relation to where I live are over 30 miles away. Yeah I'm jealous, but you never get to shoot in the rain and cold!
  10. 3.5gr of CLAYS, 200gr LSWC = @140 pf. Super soft load, fun to shoot, and no recoil.
  11. A fad? latest and greatest? As Seth mentioned above, the same discussion was here 7 years ago...kinda hard to be a fad after all that time, even if it isn't for everybody. For the record, I don't have a 6" Limited gun, but the next one I have built will be. R, I stand corrected.
  12. The 6inch guns IMHO seem like a fad to me. Too many people jumping on the bandwagon with the lastest and greatest thing since slice bread. But it all boils down to preference. I you feel better with the 6inch, go with it. Just make sure you are making the right decision.
  13. Here are my 2 dopey dogs. Both were puppies when we got them from rescue shelters. Colby (2years old in Dec)in the foreground is a Flat Coat Retriever/ Lab Mix and Shelby (3 1/2 years old)in the back is a lab mix. They are great dogs, but still maturing. As much as they have changed the lives of my wife and I, we don't regret the day we got them. However they are part of the reasons why we get less sleep and I can't shoot as much as I would like to.
  14. Huge Flyer fan here as well, but it's the same story. Questionable goaltending. Leighton out 6-8 weeks needing back surgery? Hopefully "Bob" can be the goalie for the future. Also expiring contracts next year are going to kill us. Giroux, Carter, Leinno, how can they be all signed, and still be within the cap structure?
  15. I HIGHLY recommend The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste. Psalm 69 is another incredible cd. Here are a few vids; Burning Inside (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=109720789562598161#) N.W.O. (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xug6p_ministry-nwo_music) Thieves ( )
  16. Now Ministry is a different story. In the early days they were a Depeche Mode type band with fake British accents. The music was actually good(if you like new wave '80's music) best cd to get would be With Sympathy released in 1983. Effigy (I'm not an) It was not until 1988 that they changed their sound with the release of The Land of Rape and Honey.
  17. They have a lot of CDs. Definitely check out Blast Tyrant and Pure Rock Fury. I'm going to download 2 more today.be Clutch and Ministry are two of my favorite bands! Seen them many times in concert. I suggest you start from the beginning with Clutch listen to Transnational Speedway League: Anthems, Anecdotes, and Undeniable Truths, their 1st cd. It is fantastic. From there listen to anything else, but you will see that they went from real "heavy" to a more "bluesy heavy". IMHO their best song is Impetus: and another great song A Shogun Named Marcus
  18. I hate my the fact that my POS Dodge Dakota has blown its 3rd computer, and the fact that the morons at Pep Boys couldn't figure out what is wrong with it. Also I hate my reasoning for deciding to take my truck there. Now I have to get towed to a "real" mechanic so that they can fix it. Ah well, there goes the money for my AR that I was planning on buying. Pep Boys pulled a solid and did not charge me for anything! But Dodge still sucks.
  19. Mixed range brass, win SRP, MG 124gr JHP's, oal of 1.165, with 8.4gr of HS-6 has given me a consistant 174PF through my full size JL Hardy
  20. Personally, D cups are my favorites. Really, only 2 jokes on this topic?
  21. Real good episode! the last 5 minutes was unexpected.
  22. I hate some of the ass-hat wearing people that work at my job. I also hate that my truck ran fine for 8 years, then all of a sudden this last year I am getting constant issues with it. Furthermore, I hate that I have "the sugar" as my doctor called it. It has been a 6 months and I an jonseing for a Vanilla Coke.
  23. Listen to Country Boner, it is slightly vulgar (not that i care, others might) and hysterical.
  24. Wilson Combat 10 rounders with the tab on the mag body. Helps with over insertion. plus they have a lifetime guarantee.
