  1. 5 on belt. I use one for burney and then refill it with one from my pocket 1 for initial load Total of 6 for me
  2. I was advised to try 12.5 ISMI with a buffer and i liked it.
  3. I have 6 CMC's, and 3 Tripps and 1 Wilson working perfectly on my Trojan 40. Dont limit yourself to one brand. If the mag does not give me headache, I keep it no matter who manufactured it.
  4. Currently I am using Hornady 124 gr FP at 1.18 oal (9mm Major) and will finish the last box by next month. Guy is selling his stash of Hornady 124 RN and some HP. What will be my OAL to retain the same amount? or portion of bullet seated inside the case thanks
  5. Nice videos. Sparked my curiousness, so I started looking around the net for the open guns some of the guys are using. I didnt find any. Any links? Or groups already having fun with these air soft matches. Are they using plastic or lead pellets. My kids are interested and me too. Something to keep the three of us busy this winter in our basement.
  6. I use HAP but they are not .356 HAP's are .3555 I agree with kingman and Guy. The first thing to do is buy a bore slug and determine the real diameter of your barrel and start from there.

    OAKLEY

What tint is good for bright days and which one for over cast or indoor shooting thanks
  8. I use VV N320 also. 180 HAP. Clean and consistent velocity.
  9. I use VV N320. Clean.
  10. I use factory adjustable on mine (G34). Aftermarket FO FS (Hi-Vis?) I widen the rear sight notch a little bit and works perfect with me
  11. I used to have a P16 and experimented on recoil spring. My gun runs good with ISMI 12.5 and better with 13lbs. No feeding problem. 11 lb and lower gives feeding problem once in a while and i dont want that to happen while i am shooting a stage. So I settled for 13 lb
  12. No SB on all my guns. Learned the hard way. Virgin 'buff on the first stage. Doing well. 4th stage of the match. Few rounds fired, jammed and the culprit was the buff. Didnt finish the stage. I was so mad i put the almost a dozen or more SB at the prize table for anybody interested with it.
  13. I have a DOH set up for SS. Limcat for open I have complete rigs of Safariland 011/012, Houge and Bianchi Hemisphere but I dont know why I always pick up the belt with DOH for L and L10 By the way they are all on CR belts except the Bianchi.
  14. Good deal. Congratulations. Keep it lubricated and it will serve you a long time. Is it still in the white? If it is then save money for hard chroming finish or any finish you want.
  15. chipmccormickcorp.com 10mm mag worked perfect on my trojan 40
  16. I also own a Trojan 40 1. thats a good sight 2. i use smith & alexander on mine 3. I use short curved because i have a stubby short finger 4. i am also using 12.5 lb ismi other add ons are - extreme eng. innards - ambi. safety - extended mag release - hard chrome finish after break in i use mc cormick mags. They are super reliable. finished 8 single stack classic matches at pasa park plus other matches without malfunction.
  17. It is an EFK fire dragon. The rod and the plug are both S/S. The plug is very sturdy and wont break easily than the original piece (with tab). The rod has smaller spring inside. When the gun is fired the special pug compress the recoil spring and then catches the step on the fore end portion of the rod, pushing it and compresses the 2nd smaller spring inside the rod.
  18. check your copy of Front sight magazine and look for the bullet feeder sold by Gaspari and associate. Call him or send an e mail and ask him about his 1050 set-up.
  19. I use a 9 but 9SC for USPSA matches and steel. For brass, I reserve the 9th or 10th reload for lost brass match.
  20. I am lying BIG TIME if i said I dont and I wont. But experience taught me not to do it the night before the match
  21. surfmaster, click search and type in silica. practice to be be able to make thin end even spread I had an STI with stippled grip and I am not satisfied with it. I applied silica on that grip and it made night and day difference on grip.
  22. Bought my .40 trojan 7 years ago. Nothing is added except magwell and ambi safety. Barrel is still original and ramp not modified. This year will be my 7th single stack match at Barry and no problem feeding. Gun and me always finish the match with no problem. Tried factory 165 gr to homebrewed 1.230 (210gr lead RN) without gagging. But the smoothest feeder is 1.18 Magazines are Mc Cormick which are flawless. I chose .40 because i shoot Limited class too, so ill have one set-up on my 650
  23. I am still on my quest to beat my finish on my last match, and then ill try to beat that again and so on and so on. If I win a match, then thats a bonus.
