My Hunting Buddy(Coon Hound) of 12 years ended up having Cancer and I chose to put him down too. He too wagged his tail all the time. I still get a tear at times and that was 20 years ago. Only thing as hard or harder was when my father passed away from a Heart attack. Pets are SPECIAL, God blesses us with their time with us. You were the lucky one to have had the time with her. AustinMike, That is great! If all we can do is shoot at the club level please do so as often as possible. The classifier scores go in and improve the data base. Plus that also gives more numbers for USPSA to see. Well the pressure went away with the Anti-biotics about the same time. Ringing is still present, and I do know it is better some days than others depending on Air pressure, cold vs hot ect. Whiskers, congratulations on 80% of a VERY GOOD Master(soon to be GM?) Getting ready for you at Arkansas,(about as ready as I'll get) I actually got some shooting in on Saturday. I shot my 646 for the first time in a long 2 years in the IDPA Classifier and missed Master by a few points (shot the times needed but was a little off on accuracy). Did I tell you that a K frame revolver with a titanium cylinder shoots exactly like a precision made Benny Hill Limited gun? ......in other words, if the sights aren't where they need to be when you pull the trigger a hole will not majicly appear where you want it to. Get the home duties taken care of so you can get the kitchen pass for two weeks, see you there and good shooting this weekend. Hop

Gunmac, to answer your question about the comparison to the 625. Yes the rear sights are the same and the millet is a complete replacement unit that you just screw off the old and insert the new. Front sights I think are the same too on some but not sure so don't take my info too seriously without more digging.....but I do know the millet answer. IF you are going to go with a Fiber optic I also suggest the SDM.......brownells or Midway is a source for them. My 646 has the same ramped sight but no red insert.....just all black and is serrated I like it fine but I preferr black sights front and back. If you don't mind all black just get some sight black and cover it up as it is (cheap way out). Many like the LPA, I have not seen it but it reminds me of a Millet from the pictures I've seen of it. The millet is hard to beat, and built like a tank as sights go (I dropped my 625 squarely on one and it did not move off its setting.
