    Grips

I started with the Thin aluminum completely covered in Skateboard tape. then went to the VZ's which are the same thickness as the thin Aluminum.
  2. 1.125 OAL Away from home, at the VA-MD Section match, will check to be sure when I get back

    Kadet Trigger work

So if my search foo is good, I would: 1. Replace the trigger with a SAO trigger 2. Smooth the action 3. Remover the disconnector 4. Experiment with hammer springs (17 lb?) 5. Enjoy How about adding the competition hammer? Needed or overkill?
  4. Staff should be there no later than 8 am to finalize the last minute details and finish prepping the stages. Staff briefing will start at approx. 9 AM. Shooters briefing will start at 9:30 AM. Shooting starts at 10 AM or when the match has been approved by the Range Master.

    Kadet Trigger work

Is the action job the same on the Kadet pistol as it is on the 75's, SP-0's1 etc? Thanks, Jeff
  7. Flip HD. easy to use and edit. picture quality excellent.
  8. Did you try your LGS? mine carries them for a buck or two. Also any Gunsmiths in the area? they may be willing to sell you one.
  9. I'm sure that Scot will be along with the official information, in the mean time this is what was done in previous years: Shooters meeting will be at 7:30am for Saturday and Sunday AM squads, and 12:30pm for the Saturday PM squads. Shooting begins at 8 AM Saturday and 8 am Sunday morning. Registration opens Thursday afternoon for Friday shooters and staff. And will be open Friday till the Friday squads are done and we leave the range. Reopen Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7 am. I would encourage all to register on Friday if possible.
  10. Bifocals worn here, so I got glasses where I could see the sights clearly, targets are fuzzy. I put them on when i'm the on deck shooter for my final walk through, and back off before I reload my mags. I brought just my slide to the eye doctors office, and used it to show the doc exactly what point i wanted to focus on and see clearly. I held it and looked at the front sight while she did the "which is better, 1 or 2 " routine.
  11. Big sheet from the local skateboard/bike shop, around 8 dollars. Alcohol for prep, and hair dryer are the way to go. I also velcro straps to keep the skateboard tape in place, the key is to, clean, heat, apply, then let it sit for a few days and not mess with it.
  12. Kudos to both! A big part of the CZ community!
  13. The first thing you need to figure out is an acceptable distance for shooting on the move. In production you can't afford to drop many points, so if you can shoot Alpha's at 5 yards on the move but not at 7 yards or 10 yards, then you know your limits for shooting on the move (for now at least) As said above you can time and score yourself in practice to find out which way is best. Shooting on the move is fun and seems to be faster, but may not result in the best HF for you on that stage.
  14. I have 2 m&p's. One with a Burwell trigger and one with the Apex kit. On a trigger pull gauge the Apex is lighter, but the Burwell feels SO much better!
  15. CR Speed belt and pouches, BladeTech DOH holster. for me it was easy, insert spacers into mag pouches, change the holster, shoot CZ. If I was building a rig from scratch, I'd go with the DAA belt over the CR.
  16. Welcome! Lots of shooting in the area, enough to keep you busy!
  17. Depends. I leave it in if i'll be coming back in a day or so to finish a run (box, supply etc) of bullets. If it's going to be more than a day or so, back into the container it goes. I also use a note under a rubber band.
