  1. But I'd have to pull it from my pouch with my hand to put it in the gun. Same as ground to gun.
  2. apparently this thread has started a fad. We had a stage like this yesterday but the wsb explicitly stated that you couldn't put any mags in your pouches. Honestly, I think 'all reloads must come from barrel' has the clear intent of meaning you can't use your pouches (or magnets, for the nascar types), otherwise they would only say that all mags must start on the barrel. As far as I can tell, the only real effect is to prevent people from using magnets, because with every stage design I've seen except 1 (at an outlaw match), it would only cost you time to put even 1 mag in a pouch. So if you drop a mag on the ground, you can't use it?
  3. So if you grab a mag off a barrel and fumble it and it hits the the ground, you can't pick up and use it? When the beep hit, the mag was where it was required to be, I don't care where it goes after that, it came the from where it was required to be.
  4. Some folks are really confused about inside/outside the box/shooting area and faulting. Two completely different things.
  5. someone any load advice for 9major loads with Power pistol? my pistol runs on standard loads with power pistol, maybe I'll try to get major (big flash and bang) gr T I ran a bunch of 147s in 9Major a few years ago when that was the only thing I could find. It wasn't that bad at all but I wouldn't use it by choice. I wouldn't use it with 124s and using it with 115s would be silly, given the pressure signs I saw in my testing. I've run Power Pistol up to 180pf with 124s. No pressure signs at all.
  6. Power pistol works fine for major 9, it's just wicked loud and blasty.
  7. I just bought 3000 Acme 115s @ $0.058/rnd.
  8. Don't think I need to explain anything.
  9. I believe it was deemed illegal to put paint or the like inside the grip frame to aid reloads because it was a visible external mod.
  10. It's also an external mod, because you'd visibly thin the rail at the bottom of grip.
  11. 21.1 - • Per existing NROI ruling, any “internal” modifications which result in a visible change to the external appearance of the gun when it is in battery REMAIN PROHIBITED unless specifically allowed by the plain language herein.
  12. Lee dies all the way around.
  13. There are only three instances in which a firearm may be removed from the holster: 2.2.4.1 With verbal instruction from a SO. 2.2.4.2 While engaging targets in a CoF under the direct supervision and visual contact of a SO. 2.2.4.3 When in a designated “Safe Area”.
  14. 2.2.4 Handling a firearm except at the firing line.
  15. I've seen a .41 Mag Desert Eagle and an Automag III in .30 Carbine.
  16. For years I've only picked up a gun and shot a match once a month. I made B pretty easily. A on the other hand...

That's pretty HOT for a starting load.
  20. If your extractor is tight enough to hold the case against the breachface, then you're most likely not headspacing on the case mouth anyway.
