  1. For ease of use (and smell), stick to Green gas. Propane indoors is pretty nasty. None of the indoor arenas here allow for propane indoors. Also - finding the right amount of lubrication using propane can be tricky sometimes. I've had more maintenance issues with my gas blowback guns by going the "cheap way" and going with propane.
  2. My 5" 9L likes 124gr. Haven't tried 147gr. 115 gave me some issues.
  3. Howard Leight Impact Sport are great. I use 'em all the time now. Outdoors they're generally good enough in terms of sound reduction, but indoors I double up with soft plugs underneath.
  4. They aren't gonna care, Jon.
  5. Yeah - She was disadvantaged because she was less experienced at walking shots in. So..... If she's at your club, any hint at anything between Her and Chee? Yesssssss - get her on here. Like Cliff Walsh and Mike Hughes
  6. Forget the drop turner - if you wanna truly be evil, toss a Texas Star in there... then it's really a death star
  7. I had it before it officially came out
  8. I think Littlejohn shoulda went to the elimination rather than William. They threw Will under the bus - they made him shoot the gumballs because he performed best at it, though he most likely would have aced the bowling pin shots. Meanwhile, Littlejohn went 1 for 3 while saying "I shot it at the same place each time"....... No you didn't.
  9. You should have done what Jay Worden does to make it memorable during his RO classes: he starts shuffling forward doing "the slide". It's a great reminder for RO's going through the class that the correct phrase is "hammer down". As for waiting for the nod, I was given the impression that in the IDPA SO training program, SO's are taught to look for some kind of acknowledgement of the "Shooter Ready." command. So I think that Ken's guess in post #2 that the RO's were IDPA certified may have some merit. Haha Yeah - George Jones did that in the class I took recently. Que George Jones shuffling his feet forward a few inches at a time! I can still visualise it. Hah - running joke around here too.
  10. Ooh I like it. Gives you a good aim point I like the hard cover stripes idea too - it's like they're behind a fence...... A fence with lasers..... haha
  11. If by "cool kids" you mean people who like wearing bricks on their heads...
  12. My camera - ContourHD 1080p. $150 w/ free shipping. I originally got this for $220+shipping... oh how I hate paying to be one of the trendsetters http://www.amazon.com/Contour-1300-ContourHD-Helmet-Camera/dp/B002QGSYZ4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1328736926&sr=8-2 The ContourRoam is a little pricier http://www.amazon.com/ContourROAM-Hands-free-Camcorder-Newest-Model/dp/B005GLFSYQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328736926&sr=8-1
  13. Practice shooting 1-handed and offhand.
  14. If you're worried about bulk, there's the Tachyon Ops HD camera which is really small.
  15. What kind of camera are you using? I use a ContourHD 1080p mounted on a goggle strap. Several other fellow shooters use Contours with various mounting methods (on hearing protection, mounted to hat bills, etc.).
  16. Have you gone through the class yourself? Honestly - there were so many questions asked and answered based on the workbook and rulebook - it was well worth the classtime.
  17. Having recently been through the NROI RO Class, I have to say - online will not work. There's a lot of practical demonstration and nuances that you cannot learn from a book (or webpage). The NROI RO class also requires you to pass a practical exam - you will have to RO someone.
  18. I just took the NROI RO class this past weekend. Long weekend of classtime but it was well worth it.
  19. Do you know what brass you used for your reloads, or was it just mixed brass? You CAN get messed up loads from factory ammo...
