  1. That's what I'm talkin bout Wish I could figure out the trigger freeze problem I'm having... Gotta be the darn gun
  2. Thanks for the great information... And I was inquiring about whichever term (backbore or overbore) that refers to tightening the pattern and lessen recoil. I was hoping to find a magic bean that would make the Benny recoil like an 1100 but be reliable and light like the M2 is hehe Thanks
  3. My apologies if this is answered elsewhere, I couldn't find it anywhere... I know the factory Benelli M2 barrel's are cryo treated but are they also backbored? I'm trying to resolve a rumor I heard that they were. and if they are not, has anyone tried it??
  4. SVI made some changes on their mag release by adding a ledge or something, can't remember why though. So the grip frame hole for the mag relase is a bit larger in diamater thatn the one on an STI grip...
  5. I've got a few STI/SVI guns and I use N320 with MG 180 gr. JHP's loaded out to an OAL of 1.135" - 4.7 grains in my Schuemann Ultimatch guns is 173pf and 5.3 grains in my Infinity barrels is 172 pf.
  6. More surface contact area with the Clark/Para cut. With the Wilson/Nowlin you can cut a Clark/Para if you ever need to... Both are good, I prefer my 'smith do Clark/Para on my guns
  7. My AR barrel is .720" @ the end and I use a JP clamp on front sight... Works great!!! Would have tried the Armalite model but they told me 60 weeks to get one JP is likely better quality and they were available.
  8. I recently moved to Indiana and this match is only 4 hours away... I'll have to come shoot it Looking forward to getting into 3-Gun!!!
  9. That thing needs a two finger trigger
  10. Thanks for the rec's guys - good stuff I currently have a 1100 LT20 Youth but it's a tad heavy for my oldest. I found a deal on a A391 youth model that seems to be an excellent piece and I'll have to take a look at the Charles Daly's.
  11. My check is on it's way! This will be my first 3-Gun match so I'm looking forward to it
  12. Does anyone have any good recomendations for a new semi auto youth shotgun? I was looking at the Remington's, either an old 1100 youth 20 ga with 24" barrel but was told to look at the youth model "escort" by Legacy International - 20 ga, 22" barrel, buttstock similar to the synergy ... Anybody have any experience good or bad with the Legacy Intl. products?? Thanks.
  13. I'm curious if anyone has tried Benchmark for 223 with their 55 gr and 69 gr bullets???
  14. JP makes a clamp on front sight post...
  15. WOW! I'm new to 3-Gun and only 3 hours away from this facility... Looks like I'll have to try to attend I'm excited to have a top notch shooting center located closer than USSA in Tulsa!
  16. The SVI's seem to be a better built gun than the STI's. I'd put an SVI up against ANYONES Custom Built guns also... I got my first SVI last year, took 3 Months from order to delivery which was fantastic! The gun runs just as good as my best Custom built STI. My 'Smith even likes the quality of the SVI's and he's very meticulous about quality of parts. I ordered another SVI for this year and will get another one next year. They're great guns!! Keep up the good work Sandy & Brandon! Hope to have my new one by Christmas
  17. My favorite mag pouches for Limited are the Universal Xtreme pouches, buy them at www.mannyusa.com. Second favorite are the DAA pouches from Saul K.
  18. 5.0 gr. N320 1.135" OAL 180 gr MG JHP CCI primers
  19. I'd attend if it weren't the same weekend as the Florida Open
  20. Yeah, where do we get one of the Nordic comps?
  21. Looks like this will be agreat match! Hope it's warm, I'm tired of cold weather!
  22. Manny, great job on another successful weekend... Wish I could have been there See you in Calgary!
  23. Saul did a fantastic job on the magnetic pouches. I have some and they hold the mags very securely - Have not had the chance to use in match conditions yet though...
