  1. I get mine from Manny @ http://www.protechco.com/airsoft/. Check them out!
  2. Anybody have pressure/velocity problems with the West Coast bullets? I ran into troubles with slow velocity and high pressure signs with a known load, switched back to Zero bullets and pressure signs went away and velocity came up...
  3. Like most of the others, I use 180 grain Zero JHP's, 5.0 grains of N320, at a 1.160 OAL = 174 pf 11 pound recoil spring, stock steel guide rod and a 15 pound mainspring.
  4. cottyw, I just moved away from the KC area and can tell you that it is really nice shootin if you don't mind to travel a bit. The Bullet Hole is just North of Shawnee Mission Parkway on Robinson Street. Other good clubs to check out: - Air Capital Practical Shooters , near Wichita shoots 3-gun every 2nd Saturday : http://www.geocities.com/wdpc@prodigy.net/acshooters.html - Ark City Gun Club shoots 3-gun on the 4th Saturday of each Month, I think. - Oklahoma City Gun Club shoots 3-gun every 5th Sunday (of those Months that have 5 Sundays). I shot very little 3-gun but of the close clubs Ark City, Oklahoma City and Air Capital are great! You may be able to sort the guys at Mill Creek and Capital City out if you've got lots of 3-gun experience. Good Luck & Great Shooting! And say Hi to my good buddy CD (Cornell-d' Echert, Blaise) for me Brett
  5. Everyone who worked the match and the setup crew did an excellent job! The stages were great! Prize table was the best I've seen to date - may be due to the fact that I won a gun . Thanks to all the sponsors and the shooters that came out and if the match makes it to KC again next year I hope I can make the journey from Canada.
  6. Perfect in all regards... My Limited gun runs flawlessly and looks awesome! My gunsmith did an awesome job on it and it runs as good as it looks. I recently got another frame in hopes of getting another gun done for a backup (broke an AFTEC @ Area 4) in time for the Nat's - to my surprise I'll be picking it up this weekend Can't wait to see it!
  7. Thanks for popping in Phil! Do tell us more about the awesome new facility planned for the Tulsa area? Oh, and congrats on your victory in Limited at Area III
  8. Area III Final results have just been posted! Congrats to Max Michel, Phil Strader, David Elderton, Dave Sevigny, and John Burkholder
  9. I vote for the "soon to be" competitive shooting center near Tulsa Oklahoma! T. F. chime in and tell us about it
  10. Match was a blast! Stage 2 had a bit of a rain delay (from the day before) while it dried out and the rest of the stages were lots of fun Good luck to all the shooters Saturday/Sunday.
  11. Carmoney - Stage 2 was a muddy mess Friday AM so we decided to wait and see if the mud dried up. About 2 PM it was decided to start letting squads venture on to stage 2. It was a bit slow getting everyone through it but we finished up early in the evening - stage 2 is fine now and if we don't see rain will be great for the remainder of the weekend. The rest of the stages were great! Everyone did a fine job and as far as I could tell no stages had any problems/malfunctions.
  12. ********NEWS JUST IN********* In case anyone is interested in shooting Friday night while in KC there will be a USPSA match at the Bullet Hole starting at 6:30 PM. Cost will likely be $10 for 2 stages so come out and have some fun. You may even see a few GM's at the match. Directions: I-35 to Shawnee Mission Parkway East, look for Robinson Street (a few blocks past Superior Chevrolet) and turn left. Range is on right 1 block down - can't miss it. Look forward to seeing you all at Area III!
  13. I have to agree with Travis, Manny teaches a great class and really takes the time to share his talents with each individual person. I've taken a couple classes from Manny so far this year and have made a huge accomplishment - A class in Limited thanks to Manny I also have to thank Manny for sharing all of his knowledge with me outside of the classroom and for letting me tag along to all the matches we have hit so far this year - It's been a real pleasure travelling & shooting with you Manny Can't wait to blast some rounds with you this weekend in preparation for Area III. Eat your heart out Bill C. hehe
  14. I would recommend Missouri Shooting Academy LLC (Emanuel Bragg) as well as Double Impact Training with Max and Travis. Both were great classes and provided me with what I needed to advance to the next level.
  15. **** RV NEWS***** For you RVers that are attending the match, there are electrical hookups on site at the range. Please notify myself, Scott Hattrup or Emanuel Bragg if you wish to stay at the range. There is a small fee per night for electrical use. Brett Johnson AMD
  16. Trigger T, Little Bill is correct, you can request that someone travel the prize table on your behalf at registration. Make sure you mention it when you register. Brett Johnson AMD
  17. Yes, check Brownell's part number 864-100-000
  18. ipscron2000, sorry for the delayed response but to answer your question DaBlaster is my shooting idol.
  19. intento - It will be possible for a limited number of RVers to stay on the grounds at the range as long as arrangements are made ahead of time. Brett
  20. I'm looking forward to this match. I get to shoot with one of my shooting idols on Saturday AND shoot my new open gun for the first time in a match on Sunday.
  21. The game is great! Manny beat the tar out of me when we played it in Vegas @ the Riviera while in town for the SHOT show. Too bad the scope was off a bit making it hard to be really fast. Great game though.
