  1. Is the click switch model any better than the regular model? Good idea on the railway, I'd like to try a C-More on my AR... Thanks everyone!
  2. I too use the Cominolli frame saver tungston rod with 12 lb Sprinco progressive recoil spring or 15 lb ISMI recoil spring. N320 or WST powder and a 180 grain West Coast RNFP for 170-172 pf with a full length STI and a Schuemann barrel.
  3. Any reason you guys like the railway over the slide ride or serendipity? I am considering the slide ride for my new open gun... railway???
  4. I shoot an STI 40 in Limited and also a Kimber Gold Match 40 in L10, I use West Coast 180 grain RNFP bullets primarily at an OAL of 1.170". Both guns run flawlessly all the time! I use Chip McCormick 10mm 9 rd. mags and Tripp 10 rounders in the Kimber.
  5. I have a dillon bag and 2 CED's - Love the CED's. The mag pouches in the CED are great and I can keep 3-4 guns in it at one time. I usually carry a CED timer, dillon ears, cleaning stuff, tools and 500-750 rounds in the CED with no problems. The Dillon bag is a little bigger on the inside. CED all the way!
  6. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on why or when an extra long firing pin is necessary? I've been told both to and not to use one in my 9x19 open gun adventure... Any thougths? And is the Limcat piece the way to go if it is necessary? Thanks in advance for all your inputs.
  7. Rhino, Check out this site http://www.dutchguard.com/Merchant2/mercha...acd&Affiliate=o Hate to do it to ya but you can have your own Ann Coulter doll...
  8. Thanks all for your posts on the Ti hammers. I'll stick with the SV or the Koenig. Anyone had bad luck with the Koenig hammers? I had one crack a year ago...
  9. I'm currently choosing parts for a new open gun and was wandering if anyone had any experience with the STI titanium hammers? I'll probably use the Koenig or SV hammer unless someone can tell me good things about the titanium piece. I heard they don't hold up very well. Thanks all!
  10. Try the SP2, especially if you would like a large quantity. That's the only way you'll find it. It's very similar to the 3N38.
  11. You guys ever use the Case Pro or the Magma Engineering Case Size Master Jr.? I've had great luck with the Case Size Master from Magma Engineering, it takes some time but works great. I now use a modified dillon size die.
  12. I shoot an STI long dustcover with a 5" Schuemann ultimatch barrel. 4.7 grains of N320, 180 grain West Coast bullet, 1.169" OAL = 172 pf.

    Sp2

I've been looking for SP2 in small quantities also. NO LUCK! Find a group of guys that need some and buy the 50 pounder.
  14. Anybody know who makes titanium compensators for open guns? Thanks, Trickpony
  15. I'm new to Limted class and have purchased both SVI and STI 140 mm mag tubes. I'm currently using the arredondo mag kits and can get 19 rounds in the SVI mags and 18 in the STI's after fitting the followers... Anyone got any good combos to get 20 or more rounds in the 140 tubes and still be legal? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  16. I too am looking for bottles suitable to handle SP2 in 1 and 4 pound quantities. If I find any, I'll keep you in mind - please do the same.
  17. Anybody got any real good loads for 3-gun in a 12 gauge? I'm currently using AA hulls, Univ. Clays powder Win 209 primers and WAA12 wads - 23 grains with #6 shot. Benelli M-1014 Seems to work well but it's all I've ever used.
