  1. I'm considering it as well... Need a hard chrome like finish on an aluminum frame and I think NP3 would work.
  2. I think I've decided to get a Square Deal B to load my 9mm ammo... Only plan to load 5000 or so rounds a year so the SDB should do the trick
  3. MGM all the way!!! You will not be disappointed in the quality of their products. Great steel made for shooters and a great supporter of USPSA and 3-Gun matches!
  4. Mag order placed Wednesday, got here today
  5. I'm just lazy and don't want to cut the dustcover Didn't think about the holster thing, was going to have Elderton make me one for it...
  6. That's pretty straightforward. You can't have a steel full-length dust cover in ESP. A standard short steel dust cover, yes. A full-length polymer dust cover, yes. A full-length steel dust cover, no. I have another 2011 dust cover related question... I'm building a 5" STI 2011 in 9mm with bushing barrel and a long standard width aluminum dust cover. Ya think the long aluminum dust cover would be legal in ESP since it's not "carbon or stainless steel"? Of course providing I meet the weight requirements...
  7. Okay guys, this class is almost full... I've got room for 2 more so if anyone lives near Lafayette Indiana this is a great time to get some skill development training prior to the 2010 shooting season.
  8. I'm new with a M&P 9L. What's everybody like for bullet weight for best accuracy? I'm seeing mostly 124gr. and 147gr. load data... Thanks!
  9. I might have to make this one, stages look fun and it's only 4 hours away... Barely got my 1911 finished last year and haven't shot but 50 rounds through my new production gun - no idea what to shoot. Any way a 2011 can be considered a single stack or production gun? App on the way this week!
  10. Wish I could attend this one but it's the same time as the High Plains Shotgun Challenge in OKC... Never seems to be a weekend when matches don't conflict with something You guys enjoy the match! I'm sure it'll be a good one.
  11. Corey, get a Firebird lower... You won't be disappointed
  12. I tried various slugs from Remington, Federal, Winchester, Wolf, and Fiocchi. My 21" M2 loves the 7/8 ounce Fiochhi and my 24" M2 likes the Remington low recoils. 21" gun groups very well with most slugs and the 24" not so much (picky)... Strange how that works out
  13. Yep it's .750 at the gas block. I've just got a pinned front sight on there with the front sight chopped off...
  14. I just got a 20" fluted 7 twist... Looks great but no idea if it shoots straight yet
  15. I have this Bushmaster 9 twist 20" barrel with Clark carbon fiber handguard and it's very light. I've been very happy with the Bushmaster barrel. Great performance with Rem 55's, Sierra 69's, JLK 75's and Nosler 69's...
  16. WOW!!! Wonder how Mel ever found time to stop ticken off the locals long enough to come out for some fun??? If he aint working can I squad with the old codger???
  17. Is there a difference between the Troy TRX Extreme and the VTAC of similar build? I know both are made by Troy but I'm curious if there's a difference in the two?
  18. He's got what I'd call competition guns shown in the photos section of his website... And he knows what IPSC is so I'd trust him. I don't have any personal experience with him but might have to see if he can throw some snake skin serrations on one of my single stacks
  19. Manny Bragg will be teaching a 2-Day Intermediate/Advanced class March 27 28 at Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club near Brookston, IN (Lafayette area). Range info Manny will equip each student with the knowledge and mechanics to improve their fundamentals, providing them a solid foundation that will lead to better performance in competitive shooting. Cost of this training will be $450 plus a $25 range fee per person. Plan to shoot approximately 1500 rounds in the 2-Day course. I am requiring a $150 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in the class. The remainder is due March 13, 2010. Please contact me by email for the registration form and with any questions. Class size is limited to 8 people and payment must be received by March 13 to guarantee your spot. Once the class is full I will be emailing all the students additional information regarding class times and other details. Look forward to seeing everybody on the range, Brett Email me
  20. You can buy one at CPWSA, one of our forum Dealers!!!
  21. I'd like to attend this match. Email sent. Now just gotta see if anyone near me shoots 3-Gun...
  22. Do you know how many hash marks? I was told 4 or 5... Not sure why they shortened the tube length either... Uh, material savings? IDK I wonder if the pricing will be in line with the former Meo or try to compete with the Burris? I'm sure it'll compete with the retail price of the Burris XTR... Heard it'll be in the $1000 range but that's retail I think. Thanks man. Good info. Still gonna look for a pic......I just have to know! np... I'm dying to see one as well... But I really want that new Short Dot 1-8x24
