  1. yeah the ball is in their court. they are aware of Henning and all the goodness he does, but whether or not they want to grant official status is another thing. But man it would be nice if they did.
  2. That wasn't me with the misfire issues, that was Jim and a few other guys, they let them use heavier hammer springs and I heard some guys did get to use your firing pin. I was lucky that I brought my own ammo (curtesy of my two ammo mules Warren and Michelle). The sight, the grips, are all awesome, but all Tan would have to do is offer your parts through their website, and say they are options for all guns, and we'd be good to go. Just like CZ did with Angus' stuff.
  3. sorry Henning I meant that this is another part of yours that Tanfoglio should carry and offer as an option for us Production shooters. It's frustrating as hell to not be able to legally use your parts!!!!!!
  4. another part Tanfoglio needs to add to their list of "factory" parts. sigh.
  5. Henning, why don't you just design a new CZ based gun from the ground up. Take the elements of the Tanfoglio you like best, plus whatever you've designed yourself, and just make a fresh new gun? Solid billet machined uppers and lowers etc. Man I'd be all over one. with todays machining, I bet you could come in at damn near the same price point, and then we'd have a truly top notch product that needs no upgrades, to shoot.
  6. both my hammers have been blue. I had a stainless one, but that's because Sean sent me a SA one. It no worky in the Stock II. which was a shame, it was pretty.
  7. This needs to be a picture thread so we can compare sears and sear legs etc.
  8. I absolutely hate the reset in my Stock II. I know we are limited to polishing and removing burs etc in PD, but I am curious if anyone has any suggestions on ways to improve the reset in the Stock II. having 3/4 of an inch of travel for the reset is a bit brutal. I've got the overtravel adjusted to the minimum possible.
  9. Not sure when it happened but my rear sight blade broke today at the match I am currently shooting. Shot two stages without it, then switched to my M&P for the next stage. One our way to the next range for part two of three. Sigh.....
  10. Henning, have you tried the trigger in your Stock II, just to see if it would even work. I know that it wouldn't be as adjustable and all that. but it would be neat to know if it would function in the gun.
  11. cool. I'd actually like something like that on my 1050
  12. I was just on your site Henning and I can't find the mag bases for my Stock II mags? am I blind?
  13. do you have an auto press running in the background of your video? or someone reloading? cuz it sure sounds like it. god I'm thinking of ordering one of these triggers and I don't even have a gun to put it in. arrrgggg.
  14. holy crap I need a Standard or Open gun to stick that in!!! that's sexy as hell dude.
  15. sigh, I'd like one that worked in a DA gun..... and was PD legal too.
  16. Hope you're having fun dude. Lots of pics too I hope (none of the drunk camp though, seen too many of those from other hunting buddies)
  17. tired posting from my Blackberry last night, apparently it didn't go through. I checked the brass last night, sparkly shiny like new. Untreated corn media. I added a small amount of polish to it and threw in some more dull brass. It was all nice and shiny this morning and the media had changed color slightly. It still looked like new media last night when I swapped out the brass. I also loaded up the Dillon with new media (no polish) and some dull cases. They were still dull this morning. for some reason the Dillon will clean them fine, but it won't polish them like the Midway tumblers will. Different agitation I guess. The Dillon gets them moving fast, but maybe not vibrating the same? I'm just throwing out the over treated media, I've got about 80lbs of corn sitting in a barrel, so it's not like I need to scrounge for it. And it's almost that special time of the year on the farm, so I'll probably grab a couple more bags when my dad orders his. much cheaper that way.
  18. so I put fresh corn cob media in my tumblers the other day (Two Midways, one old style, one new and a Dillon). Normally the Dillon is the preclean, and the two Midways do the final polish. However this time the cases will not come out shiny. They are clean, but not sparkly like I normally get them. Is it possible to much Flitz Brass Polisher could cause that to happen? the media turned dark pretty quick. which it normally doesn't. These cases had been washed previous to hitting the fresh media in the Dillon, and then going into the Midways. I've dumped it all out into a spare pail, and I'm trying just straight corn cob, no polish, to see if the cases get shiny. I won't know till later tonight if it works.
  19. hmm CZ mags, polished with Tanfo internals maybe? I've also thought about making minor adjustments to my mag catch to allow the mag to seat slighter higher in the grip, as I've seen some guns allow that. But not sure how much to adjust for, obviously one would have to be careful. As well the mag could bottom out on the slide if allowed to go to far in. Or perhaps a thicker lipped base pad would solve the problem?
  20. grips are, but I don't think his pads are, if he "made" his own mags we could use his pads so long as the overall length wasn't greater than factory mags with the rubber base plates on them. I've been thinking of getting some CZ mags, as they are a tighter fit to the bottom of the grip, and help send the slide forward automatically on insertion, whereas the factory ones don't do that. If I ran those mags, I could use his pads. hmmmmm
  21. Arrrg, Tanfo really needs to sell your stuff so it's Production Legal!!!! I want pins!!!!!!!, I want a new sear and hammer, I want I want I want!!!!!!!
  22. Nice shooting dude. Loved the Star on the move, even for a fun run that's ballsy. What was with the slip on the second stage?
