hmmm I didn't think this would be so hard. So lets see, first hint. The main character is a Ronin, and spends the entire 6 movies making his revenge on the people who set him up. Elements from this movie were used in 3 of the characters in the movie, Big Trouble in Little China. that's all for now.

one thing I find totally useless is reading the match copy too much. Not sure how it works down south, but in our match copies we have a diagram of each stage. When I first started IPSC I would study each page religiously until I could almost redraw them from memory. I quickly determined that the only truly useful info in the match copy is the date, start time and round count. Once you get to a match the target layout and stage size is almost always different in some way, and if you are trying to lay out a plan ahead of time it ain't going to work. But once at a match I do try to get around and snoop at each stage to see how they are setup. It's far too often that I will get home and realize a better way of shooting a stage. Hopefully with practice that will improve though.

Unless I am blind there isn't a question for June yet, if it's ok I have one, if not simply ignore this question. In the movie Kill Bill Volume 2, Uma Thurman's character's daughter is watching a movie with Bill (Carradine), the movie is obviously the cut up and re-edited classic Samurai revenge movie ___________. SO the question is, what are the names of the original 6 movies the cut up movie is from? If by Thursday I don't see any answers I'll post some hints.

then you've got my opinion, and I know a few others that share it. If you shoot a calibre that can make major, ie. .40 or .45 then it should make Major, even if you are in Production. Nothing irks me more than the guys that download their .40's to Powderpuff loads whereas us 9mm shooters load to max just to make Minor. But hey that's just me, when I shoot .40 I load it up, when I shoot 9mm I load it up. I don't like these little wimpy "fake" loads.

thanks Vince, I must have glossed over it if you previously explained that all (sometimes speed reading is not a good thing eh?) I never noticed the "changing engagement angles" bit before either, so that's good to see it in there.

I too realize that any special parts like Ernests Speedbump trigger are a huge no no, but this "Polishing" thing has got me flumuxed (sp) (hell is it even a word?). As Ken states thousands of rounds fired will produce much the same effect as me taking 600 or 800 grit paper to my hammer and sear and making them baby ass smooth, with just the perfect amount of engagement. is this legal? that's where the question seems to stand now. what can we do to our guns, or more specifically what can't we do when it comes to smoothing things out? If I remove the rough spots on my trigger bar is that allowed? etc etc. ieeee what a can o worms.

see this is where problems are gonna start and it's going to be hard to keep people honest. are we going to see people pulling hammers and sears and comparing them to a box stock factory one? if someone is really talented, they can alter the face of a sear and change the engagement surface enough to make the SA trigger totally different from factory, and really improve the initial DA pull, but at the same time, I've owned and played with other pistols the same as mine where the trigger, from the factory, was as good as, or better than some that had been worked on. It all depends on who fitted the gun at the factory, if the machines that cut angles were using new tooling etc etc etc. So many variables, and depending on the mood of the person testing the gun, or the phase the moon is in, it's going to be a mess at a big match. Is there really any way to keep people honest? I don't think so, at least not without having to take steps that would make it impossible to run a match effectively. groan............. I wonder if this will ever get sorted out properly?

ok so is polishing my sear and hammer, and back of the trigger bar on my Beretta allowed or not? all that is being done is that burs, and rough contact areas are being smoothed over.

not trying to hijack here, but why make the rear site on the Beretta narrower? if you are really intent on doing this, I think it would be far simpler to just shape your own rear site out of raw steel, than to mess with a Novak.

First post here, I think another question would be about the Worlds. If and when the Worlds are held in the USA next, what rules are followed? USPSA or IPSC or a strange combo of both? I know a number of shooters from up here in Canada that do shoot in the USA and obviously they shoot following USPSA rules, and vice versa for when Americans come up here. I would expect the Worlds, no matter where they are held to follow IPSC rules. but hey what do I know, I've only been in IPSC for a little over 1.5 years.
