  1. Most every GM I have watched will flip the pistol up and move the slide in the same motion rather slowly. They make it look easy. I enjoy watching folks try it and send the round farther than spent brass and chase it. WTFlip are they thinking?
  2. Alright SV COP that's just wrong! Lol
  3. A friend and I are looking/ thinking about getting a couple of 6inch 2011's in40 built. We are confident that the Enos grew will help with our decision. Don't want to wait a year or more but i think we do want some new guns. Any advice will help. Thanks in advance.
  4. I've been running the DAA-RM holster for about 6 mo. with the aluminum mag pouches.the best IMHO. The aluminum mag pouches are the only way to go. Very very smooth, lots of adjustments , holds tight and releases when you want like butter. And i would suggest the DAA magnet for mags on table starts. Great stuff!
  5. If your loads run( no FTF or ejecting issues) and make the PF use them. Watch for over pressure signs and choot em. My 2 cents
  6. all my 1911/2011 have ambi and one piece guide guide rods and work great. but im a lefty/
  7. Thank you for the link, that sums it up well.
  8. The no shoots seem to be like bullet magnets I'm sure am worrying about the no shoot and should be looking at the front sight. It might be I'm looking for brown and I see bright white. Lol
  9. Thanks. Thats kinda what I was thinking too.
  10. How much time do you dedicate to hitting A's when you have a no shoot covering part of it? Do you want to take the time to hit A's or quickly take the C's and move on to the next A?
  11. Do this with a timmer. Line up the sights break the shot and see the front sight lift and return break the second shot as soon as the front sight returns do this a few tmies. change springs and try it again and see what feels best to you. Check you're splits ( make sure you SEE the front sights lift and return ) Im not saying this is only way it's just one that maybe you can see the difference in the springs.
  12. When my smith installed an SV trigger and did my trigger job and installed 15 lb mainspring he recommended one and it has ran perfect every time.
  13. i like the SV mags. they are tuned by Bobby @ Freedom Gun Works and hold 20 plus 1. my STI with Grams and Bolen pads only get 19 tight.
  14. Try a search on the Tripps, and SV or just sights. Might find what you are looking for a little faster. I have the K1 on my concept III.
  15. What about lead!? Not moly coated. I have heard not to choot em with an AET.?
  16. I was snatching the trigger. Dryfire worked for me in less than a week. Press...Press... Break. 10 min a night 6 night a week. Now I Dryfire every night. It seems to be paying off.
  17. +1 I don't clean the barrel, but I do clean the rest of the gun.
  18. What load and bullet are you gonna run it that new Eagle 5.0?
