  1. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=209308&hl= This. A lot of us have been doing just that.
  2. can only comment on the 40's, and yes, it solved the problem.
  3. i canned the follower and spring and replaced with TTI...runs 100% now.
  4. I have a feeling it isn't just SC. probably was the grand plan. countless businesses were bought out by companies wary of the competition.
  5. You, sir, have a collector's item!
  6. Huh? don't let Bobby know-he hates those things!
  7. Just peen the end and shove it back in (geez, that sounds bad)
  8. Cried reading ypur post. BTDT. Sorry for your loss
  9. I can't believe 3 gun nation doesn't allow .410's...just sayin
  10. If yer shooting carbine style matches, that's fine. If yer shooting 3 gun where stages can have shots out to 300+, that can be a problem. Ballistics don't lie. Tuning a gas system for 2600 fps and 2950 fps is difficult. Then, throw in optics that have BDC. Good luck getting that to work with both loads. Just sayin'
  11. pete said on FB he would be releasing stages daily, leading up to the match. never said when he'd start, though.
  12. all my 3 gun builds are with JP parts. just finished a 16" ultralite. went with a CF Lancer handguard to lighten it up even more. shoots sub MOA easily. you won't be disappointed. they are the Ferrari of rifles as far as i'm concerned.
  13. My 140's in 40 failed. Can load 21, but no way they seat. When loaded with 20, they fail to feed after about 4-5 rounds. The springs are like bic pen springs. Follower is weird. Replaced the guts with TTI and they work just fine.
  14. dude, you'll be shooting alone if your recommendations took place.
  15. Yep, 21 in the mag is easy...getting the mag in the gun with a KKM, forget it.
  16. c'mon, guys...you are talking about steel, and in the case of JP, the best. i would be more concerned with carbon fibre, but the guys shooting them say they hold accuracy just fine.
  17. Nope-16" light contour. .650 under the handguard.
  18. It looks even better in the flesh. the chameleon small parts are cool. inside the barrel is way cool. bobby even did the aftec! some are lucky enuf to have one...how about a pair?
  19. See Ray...bet he'll fix you up with those Bitchin 10 rd mags. Did me solid a few years back.
  20. with one exception, every rifle i have built had a JP barrel. to me, always worth the extra coin.
  21. shorter is better. you using an after extractor?
  22. You do need to activate the swinger, even if it's after you're done shooting because according to 9.9.3, "Moving scoring targets will always incur failure to shoot at and miss penalties if a competitor fails to activate the mechanism which initiates the target movement." I'm not saying this necessarily makes sense...but that's how I'm reading 9.9.3... Not so fast. How could you activate it after you are done shooting? Once the command "range is clear" is given, that is the end of the course of fire (8.3.8). Now if you walked back to the activator prior to that, I can understand. That implies you safely retreated to that point, at which time you might have surprised yer RO.
