Daytime high of 42 today with 30 mph winds that are blowing right through me. I swear to God, I am freezing. Tonights lows are going sub-20, coldest weather I have ever seen in the 30 yaers I've been here.

Can anyone out there confirm this ??? I'm getting ready to send my blaster off to Tripp for hard-chrome. PS I have more dirt / carbon than I do lead. Just want to clean it up a little 1st. The vinegar/peroxide mix is the ONLY thing that would get the lead out of my comp. It tunrs it soft and spongy so you can scrape it out with a popsicle stick. As for flame-broiled hard carbon: that is the hardest thing on eart to remove from steel. If anybody ever invents any liquid that dissolves it without scrubbing or eating the flesh off your fingers, I will buy a 50 gallon drum.

I remember about 15 years back when I was giving a presentation, telling our guys that portable communicatrion would end up with a pocket sized gadget that handled all forms of communication...... phone, internet, music, video... and we are almost there right now. I also predicted that it would "talk" to your big screen TV when you are near it deferring visual display to it (or any other comaptible screen in your home). I also think the little "hands free" phone headset gadget will soon include a small screen you can rotate down in front of your eye and activate specific "buttons" by eye movement. Apple really jumped the competetition. At $500, those things are going to fly out of stores like cruise missiles.

It's not an unkown reason, it's arthritis in my neck, hands and most of my body. If I spend an hour with my head bent over to work a reload press, next day I can't turn my head. I pay other people to do such things.

NO. As I recall the maps, the beachfront property will be in Colorado by then...... That's just plain cruel. When I lived in mass back in the 60's, we had to dig our front door out from under a ten foot snow pile the wind drifted against it. I'll actually vote for that. It would be a lot more humane end than starving to death which is what is killing most of them now that the pack ice is gone and they can't hunt to get food.

That sucks. I have constant knee pain from various ailments but I think I still hav some cartiledge left. I assume you are already on the glucosomine and chondroitin supplements? Worked great fro my knees.

Global warming would be better if it made everything warmer... problem is it shifts weather patterns. Right now, New York has California's weather and kali has New York's weather. Last week I saw pictures of short-sleeve joggers in washington DC.... and the cherry blossoms blooming in the "spring weather"..... last night dave Letterman bragged about their spring weather. We are having daytime highs in the 40's and low 50's..... and overnight lows in the low 30's and upper 20's. Last night at 5PM when I walked out it was 46 degrees with 30 - 40 mph winds freezing me to the bone. This morning at 9AM the thermometer was at 36 degrees. This sucks. Typical winter weather here used to be overnight lows in the 40's and afternoon highs in the 60's with warm sunshine. We had at least 100 days a year like that. Now we have been freezing since November and it never lets up. At least three more months of this crap. TELL NEW YORK: CALIFORNIA WANTS IT'S WEATHER BACK

I'm really fed up with Miwall: they claim Outdoormarksman.com is their retail source, but they NEVER NEVER NEVER have any stock on Miwall ammo. I mean for months and months... I keep checking and never see anything. I like their 9mm and .40 and it does save me money...... I have sent e-mails to Miwall and they don't respond. I don't think they care if anybody can buy their stuff. And the killer is the price of ammo has gone through the roof and Miwall was still reasonably priced.

Left right alignment can be done pretty accurately with a laser bore sighter. Up-down can not really because of recoil effects.

I can only dream of living some place where getting a CCL is a long and frustrating process. Anybody got one? You won't find this number on Amazon's website, but here it is: 1-800-201-7575; to get a human right away, dial extension 7 WOW. That's worth it's weight in gold..... I am writing it down.

Thanks for all the input. Amazon sent me an e-mail saying that they had gotten the seller to credit back my card for the $41 they charged me (for nothing). GET THIS: the day after Amazon banged on them, they finally send me an e-mail saying that they were cancelling my order due to "unexpected demand" for the item. They didn't say why they couldn't have told me this three weeks ago..... What a bunch of bozos. After a month of hassle and no toothbrush, I break even on the deal. Whoopee

Nobody cares... at least nobody I've found. Circuit City has much more blatant false advertising: watch for their "EVERY XXX ON SALE!" advertisement..... Then go in and you will see red sale tags on all the items... and if you slide those red sale tags over, you will see the regular white tags are the same price. Yours truly was escorted out once when I walked along "liberating" the white tags from their coverings and then asked a salesman why it was they were lying about these being "on sale". Contacted the local law about it and nobody cares. Decent synthetic oils around here runs about $6/quart average price, which is why the rebates are a real cause for a drive-by. Last year's hike in crude price was accompanied by jack-ups in motor oil prices..... of course, no retreat in the latter when crude dropped back down.
