  1. I ordered 2 new magazine catches and they are different from my other ones. The catch on the right looks like my stock one, but the catch on the left looks like it is machined incorrectly. Without the middle tab I would think if I push the release too hard it will catch the magazine.
  2. I have the CZCustom adjustable rear sights on 2 of my Tactical Sports. I like them. The only issue I've had with them is the height adjustment hinge pin kept wanting to work out. I punched around the pin holes to stop that. Both the CZC and the CGW use the 6.5mm front sight, so they must be close to the same height profile.
  3. I've been waiting for months for CZ USA to get the Shadow2 safeties back in stock. Last week I got a email from them saying they were in. I immediately ordered 2 sets. Im glad I did, they were out of stock a couple day later. I got them yesterday, and installed the new left safety on both of my Tactical Sports. I kept the stock right safety on both, easier for weak hand operation. These new Shadow2 safeties are great. It moves the safety up higher. My left thumb knuckle used to hit the stock left safety causing discomfort and occasionally accidental safety activation during a stage.
  4. I use a Czechmate slide stop pin for $9 https://shop.cz-usa.com/productdetail/047000801604_czechmate-slide-stop-pin-no-lever instead of the TS slide stop for $35 https://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/047100801602_Slide-Stop-Tactical-Sport-9mm40sandw because it's cheaper, and the TS slide stop rubs my thumb while using the thumb rest.
  5. I agree. When and if I am able to get a new slide, I will not have cuts put in it.
  6. I was shooting 40S&W major.180gr bullet, 940fps, 169 pf. ,13lb recoil spring. I have been shooting at least 8k rounds through it a year for a couple years, and I bought it used, so it hasn't been baby'd.
  7. I wouldn't ever trust it. I believe it is cast & cast doesn't ever seem to take a weld well. Then it would have to be machined where it is welded. I would probably have as much money in it as buying a new slide. I feel like the lightening slots in the slide is what caused the weak area, which caused the slide to crack.
  8. I will contact CZ. I am assuming since the slide has been milled, that any type of warranty would be out. I would be happy to pay for a slide, if one is available.
  9. The slide of my 40 TS is cracked. I got on CZUSA & couldn't get a price to come up. Does anyone know where to get a slide. I just need the bare slide, I can move all my parts to the new one.
  10. The bottom of the frame by the muzzle has a picatinny rail. It's not on a TS or CM frame.

  12. I run the Alpha X, and love it. Get the Czechmate holster for the TS. Fit perfectly on my TS right out of the box. I didn't need to adjust it at all.
  13. I load about 1.130 for minor and major because that's about the length I need for a CZ Tactical Sport. If you normally load at 1.190 then continue that and adjust your powder load accordingly.
  14. Do you want to try a newer powder? Try 180gr bullet with 3.0gr of Accurate Nitro 100 NF at 1.130 OAL. It's allot cleaner than Clays, and burns cooler than Titegroup. I can shoot a whole match and it barely dirties my gun. I get 740 fps/ 133PF with this load.
  15. I use one 12oz red ISO Heet with 1oz lanolin oil. I lay my clean 40's on their sides on an old pizza tray, & put one spray across them with a plant mister filled with the lube. I then put the lubed brass in a large bowl & use this to supply my 650 with case feeder. I usually lube about 1k at a time.
  16. E3 for major, & Nitro 100nf for minor. Both very, very clean. No soot or char on brass & both very accurate. Cost is not a factor. I have to load short for CZ Tactical Sport 1.130 OAL. Titegroup is hot for major & Clays seems dirty for minor, but is soft.
  17. I might have miss worded. I have a regular Tactical Sport. If I have to modify a DAA block for my Tac Sport, I would rather modify a TSO block, than an SP01 block. Maybe I won't have to modify the TSO block for the Tac Sport.
  18. Would a Tactical Sport Orange owner please be kind enough to post the measurement of their trigger guard in the area that locks into the DAA holster. I would rather have a block that says TSO than SP01. Thanks
  19. Will this work for a regular Tactical Sport?
