  1. We'll I just finished the last episode of season 3 and it sucked. I think it ended in the only way that Brody could finally be at peace. After all he had been through I had hoped for a different peace. It will be interesting to see how the story line continues with season 4. It is possible they may have "jumped the shark".
  2. We did the same a few years back at a local club. After the USPSA match we shot again using rifles only. Same stages, same scoring. It was a bunch of fun. Don't know of any clubs doing that now.
  3. I have another question. Looking on the Tanfoglio site It says that you have to have the HC option for 15 rounds of 40. What is the the HC option and will the EAA models already hold 15?
  4. The Limited gun is listed for $2255............. That is a pretty hefty price tag. Especially when you can order an EAA Witness Limited and upgrade it with all of the same parts for about $1900. Paying an extra $355 for a "Tanfoglio" name on the side is a pretty stiff up charge. After reading the Tangoglio website, the Xtreme models do have some custom work. I think a trigger job, smoothing and fitting of slide to frame and maybe some other stuff. You are right though, start with a Limited and add parts and gunsmith work and still have money for other things.
  5. Thanks for the info, they do have everything. Why is it these are available around the world except here in the US. Just don't make sense.
  6. What is the name of the dealer? I don't mind waiting since these are not to be found anywhere I've looked.
  7. What info are you looking for? The stock 2/3 Xtreme have a more durable finish and contain the following parts:Xtreme hammer Xtreme firing pin Xtreme front sight Xtreme guide rod Xtreme aluminum grips Xtreme base pads for the magasines. They are also polished internally from the factory. I have handled them all, they are nice! I did not know that. Definitely gives more options. Thanks.
  8. I would be very interested to know what you learn.
  9. I have been doing a little research on these pistols and have decided I might want one. I also have a number of questions that I hope can be answered. 1. Is it possible to get a pistol with Tanfoglio markings instead of EAA? 2. The Limited Custom Xtreme on the Tanfoglio website really sounds like what I want but is not listed on the EAA website. Is this pistol available in the US? 3. Are there any shops that specialize in working on these pistols in the US? 4. Any suggestions on the best place to find these pistols for sale in the US? Thanks for any help.
  10. Got hooked 2 weeks back. Just completed the 2cd season and plan to start the 3rd tonight
  11. Sounds just a little harsh........just saying.
  12. I'm starting to wonder about the springs in the new Glocks. I have a 17L and a 23 bought back around 1995 that would shoot anything put in them. 100% reliable with everything. I got a Gen 4 35 a few months back and started having the same issues. Put in new springs and now I'm almost back to 100% after working out some reloading issues. I am seeing the same issues with other shooters at the matches who have the newer Glocks. It is kind of disappointing because I have recommended Glocks for years because the ones I had were so reliable. Hope someone here has some suggestions.
  13. Used 350 for years in my first open gun. Primers had some flattening but it shot flat, recoil all straight back.
  14. The biggest difference is that the focus with a RDS is on the target. Perfect focus on the target, the red dot moves on to the target. Think of a Texas Star at 20 yards. With the RDS your focus is on the plate not on the front sight.
  15. Shot my first match today with FO front sight. It has red fiber. I really like it and will stay with red for now.
  16. Installed Dawson adjustable rear with the .125 wide deep notch and FO front .100 wide by .285 tall. Shot a match today and it took 3 stages to get it right but I really like the combination. Well worth the money.
  17. Got my new Dawson FO front and adjustable rear, Happy Early Christmas present to me!
  18. I have been using the same RCBS beam scale since starting reloading about 40 years back. I also have a new Hornady digital I've been using for a few months. For some reason I always trust the beam scale and adjust the powder drop with it. The digital is used for checks while reloading since I think it is faster to respond. If ever in doubt I check with the beam scale.
  19. Welcome to the forum. Plenty of great information here.
  20. I've been using a Safariland 014 for the last 3 matches. The gun is very secure and locked when not shooting. Draws are very smooth. Have not found anything I don't like so far. Now I have one less thing to worry about. Pistol fell out of Ghost 3 times. Never could feel secure with it.
  21. Welcome to forums. My last trip down your way to Tuscaloosa was not a very fun trip. GO VOLS
  22. Could this be an issue with your mags. Does it happen with all mags?
