  1. Call PACT, they were really helpful. barry
  2. I got a case of mag pistol primers free and there was a difference of 40-50 fps in my loads of .40. No problems, just download a bit and all is well. barry
  3. Maybe they can schedule it in November...the same time as Area II...that way I can shoot in my own area match barry you know I'm only kidding so don't get your underwear in a knot

    A Day Off

Wow Glad we don't have all that white stuff here, makes it hard to shoot and not to mention finding your br ass barry
  5. STInky, I'll take a stab at this. Don't have an M3 but do have 3 M1's and 1 M121. Looking at the armorer's manual, you might want to take a look at the cartridge drop lever. The M3 trigger group looks like the M1's. Did you remove the trigger group? Sometimes when replacing it back in the receiver it gets in the wrong position (stuck under the carrier latch). Or the cartridge drop lever spring could be bent or missing. Hope this helps. Barry
  6. Nah...it's not gambling Gambling involves NO skill, only luck barry
  7. Wow, that's some coin that went in the bank. Hmmmmm...next year barry

  9. Thanks to the quake, I finally got home on Tuesday Was in the air from ORD (Chicago) for 2.5 hours when the pilot announces the earth quake in Hawaii and all the airports are closed due to no power. They turned the plane around and cancelled the flight. "Due to an act of God, the flight is now cancelled and you will need to call the reservations line and re-book your flight." After we landed, found out this airline was the only one to cancel all their Hawaii bound flights Had to spend two nights in a motel with only CNN. Was happy to find out all was good at home Oh yeah, the Open Nationals was great. Now I know what I need to practice on. Aloha, barry I want a shirt...
  10. Yup, I saw the welcome sign when I went to claim my bags. This match added a new meaning to "bunny cart" (sorry Deb...) barry
  11. This facility has a lot of potential when everything is in and growing. I wouldn't be too happy if I was shooting in Production, several stages where accuracy is a necessity however the targets are out there (30+ yds) I would shoot here again even if the temp was freezing for me (40+/- deg). Rather have the heat in Barry in July Had a bad start, didn't practice accuracy at 30 yds thinking since the Production shooters were shooting too. Oh well...next year I won't assume things would be any easier. Spent lots of $$$ . aloha, Barry Oh yeah, met Shooter Grrl and Big Brown Dog, kewl....
  12. When I went to the Cabela's in TX (close to Austin) I asked how come the prices in the catalog are cheaper. He said it was because of the lack of expenses (employees etc.) but he added I have to pay shipping. Next time I'll try that tactic of bringing in a catalog to get the cheaper price Barry
  13. Just got recertified and always get the black and gold sticker. Where is this sticker suppose to go? barry

  19. Anybody know what the typical weather would be like at that time of year? ba
  20. For Open, I have both Grams and Dawsons. Mags come to the same length however the Grams pads let me load one more round than the Dawsons (in untuned tubes w/Grams springs & followers). b
  21. Check the primer track bearing too. Mines had two grooves worn into the surface from the primer bar causing resistance and wouldn't allow the bar to move fully to the rear. The Dillon tech guy told me to smooth off the bottom and sharp edges of the primer bar. barry
  22. Check out the 5.11 TDU pants, they come in the short length. Comes in two different materials. Don't remember if they come in tan. barry Sorry, got confused, the 5.11 TDU are not shorts.
