I'd probably think L10, but really YOU have to decide what's best for you. I haven't seen any USP's, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. It's usually the indian more than the arrow, anyway.......get out and give it a whirl. Welcome to the forums, too. Mike

How much space does the average video take up? I saw a couple of yours were about 9 meg....is that 20-30 secs or so? I'm guessing that a 1 gig memory card/stick would do fine for this purpose. The camera "WOULD" give me both new,better quality still pics and video options...... of course, the camcorder would be slick,too........ decisions,decisions.

I want to start having video clips from matches, the cats playing, etc. Nothing extravagant, at all. I have an older digital camera, but it's in need of replacement. ( It's only 1.2 megapixels!!!) I've also looked at some of the lesser expensive camcorders, in MiniDV and Super8. I'd like to hear pros and cons of both, considering my use. I would probably still take some stills, but I'd say 70% of use would be video clips and the like. I'm also watching my budget......anything more than half the cost of a new Glock is out. thoughts? opinions? Mike

I've been using "Gun Butter" on my Glocks, and had good success with it. That product looks like it may work well, too, but I've got no practice experience with it to say one way or the other. If you do try it, keep us posted on the results. Mike

The bottom frame plug is a 'no no'...... I am also not sure why you'd want the G17 mags anyway, since you are limited to 10 rnds. in mag for production.....Fiber optic is fine, Trigger kit is fine== I'm pretty sure the rest of them will be answered by others shortly.....(except maybe the swallow one ) Mike

Honestly, somewhere professional is going to be your best bet. Kinkos isn't really "too" high priced. Any chance you work somewhere that there is a large plotter/printer? They'll do in a pinch, too. Mike

I'd switch to a steel guide rod/spring combo... this will put you in ESP in IDPA. Magwell, if you go aluminum, you can still be ESP.( Brass is a no-no in IDPA...) Get plenty of mags. Get a good kydex holster (Comp-tac,Blade-tech, Ready Tactical all good stuff) and a sturdy belt, if you don't have already. I use my Wilderness belt in IDPA, and have a CR Speed for USPSA. Personal preference, but I like plenty of grip tape, too. Eric Wesselman makes some good stuff, along with a few others. I'd prob opt for the 3 1/2 lb. trigger, with a nice polish job. Otherwise, really not that much really needed to make it go. There are plenty of other things, but since you want to stay legal for both games, you'll have to be more careful. That's my .223 on the topic.......I'm sure others will chime in with more/better/detailed info, as well. Mike
