  1. Pressure has to build up as the powder burns, gases push the bullet out through the barrel,Bart and Grumpyone know more on this then I do.. I load nosler 185gr bullet with 9.0gr Aliants Power pistol, it works and measures well.(Nosler & Hornady have been compared to each other.) Nosler in my opinion work better as far as accuracy oal @1.175 as for the 185xtp mushrooms out way better then nosler hp.. I hope this has been of some good use? 1.175 and what ever powder you go with go with the starting load and work your way up, check for signs of high pressure! Make a few rounds at a time so you won't have to pull any! A 230gr hornady XTP/HP is more accurate bullet then the 185gr xtp again in my opinion its more versatile and has more knock down power then the 185gr bullet it is mostly used for target practice, well Good luck!
  2. A friend of mine bought a 10mm and he reloads off my dillon(I load .40cal) .40/10mm dies with no problems, I snagged once fired brass that I got from my brother, my buddy said once fired is hard to come by. Most of the time he picks up his brass from bass pro/cabela's
  3. I might be off the solo powder subject, but I like and use power pistol, it measures and works well with loads that I have wiped up!

  5. Reloading for me has been a great investment, I spent quite a penny on my setup, and I'm not shooting competition YET! But what they are selling on the shelves in stores I can make and taylor to all my weapons. Depending on how much you shoot it can help save money but the key is to buy component in bulk like others have posted. Once you get into reloading like I have it has expanded the ability to shoot more and that's what I expected and wanted when I started to load. Its now become a hobby and an addiction that I enjoy! When I 1st joind this site I have not started reloading, but man the people in the forums wasn't playing when they said welcome to an addiction!! Thanks fellas!
