  1. I'm one of the extreme minority that loves them. You need to run the factory barrel or you break the locking block, and need to run a heavier than stock spring and shock buffer. The stainless frame added another lb to the pistol but the gun is very controllable, mags drop cleanly, and the trigger clean up nicely going into a metal frame. You could run an aftermarket barrel if you got it fitted.
  2. thanks guys, i was just wondering. i am not in the market. just kind of wanted to know what type of shooter would feel a need for one. thanks pappascott
  3. what do you meen by "handle"? if concealed i thought the idea was to not handle but to not even have it be known you are carrying? so do spectators leave their weapons in vehicles or what? I would like to srart out on the right foot. and not upset anyone as i seem to have done here already. thanks pappascott
  4. what am i doing wrong? e.g. i put "grip plug" into the search box top right and what came back are just my own two posts. i am obviosly doing something wrong. please help if so inclined. thanks pappascott
  5. what is "fast reply"? any tips on finding previous topic? what if the content is very old e.g. months or years. can things be added at this late date? i am sorry to have so many questions. trying to learn. but alot to learn at once, particularly the computer stuff. makes the gun stuff seem simple. once again my appologies. thanks papascott
  6. i appologize, i guess i really don't know how i am not just a newby here, but to forums in general. just started using the computer about 2 weeks ago.
  7. i am wondering about grip plugs. i have the g20sf, will the so-called standard grip plug fit my short-frame? some ads seem to say yes others no. how could this be? they should all fit or all not-fit? confused. thanks again Pappascott
  8. any thoghts on these? or others? advantages? disadvantages? thanks pappascott
  9. have seen ads for the Ray Harris designed CCF race frame for glocks. anyone know anything about these? s.s. or alloy?
  10. anyone going out to p.b. tomorrow? i am just planning on spectating this time. any thing i shoud know? i.e. can i have my concealed carry gun with me? do i need to bring any thing besides my glasses and ears? etiquet? thanks pappascott
  11. I was looking through the brownells catalog, looking for sights for my g20. was wondering has anyone usrd these in particular the adjustable "combat carry"? also, does anyone know how i would determine which tritium front will be compatable with this rear? I am looking to have an adj. rear/tritium front set-up for multiple use. thanks in advance, pappascott
  12. sorry about that last post. my elbow must have hit the keyboard or something.
  13. At the risk of taking ad I sort of like the type with the vantage of your helpfulness. here goes. I have the glock 20SF and was looking at grip plugs, but am unsure what will fit? I sort of like the ones with the built-in punches. any thoughts? thanks pappascott
