  4. Thanks Tony, - wanted to use power for a few reasons; I like how it burns clean in a medium burn rate, I like how how It doesn't fluctuate's if not very little on the scale and stays on point some, I got a few Lbs of it too and most importantly I was trying to be a tight wad and save money buy using the same powders for most of my weapons!
  5. "Pressure" okay reading up on this some more to get a better understanding between the heavier the bullet the lighter the charge and the lighter the bullet the heavier the charge! I knew yo was gonna mention my manuals! 36hrs and no sleep? Sheeesh, you party animal!! I hope you got your sleep, if not we are going to change your name to Sleepyone! :-p
  6. Truglo & Trijicon for sights... They would run you about 150 dollars the trigger job can run you 30 dollars and then you gotta pay him for doing the work so I can see it running about that much! I have spent about 700 dollars for my Glock, 569 for my glock and the rest was to fix and replace parts and fix what I ether broke or lost trying to clean it! Now I buy replacement parts and do the work myself! Oyah, most if not some gunsmiths say that they would have to look at the gun or order it and or they can't order the gun owner the parts for the customer. Well they gotta make money some how.. Try youtubing trigger jobs,25cent job,and instoling sights; for your xd it might save you a few bux! I hope this helped some.
  7. I had said and thought the same thing till this Grumpy guy made some sense, "why spend money what you don't need too? If the problem comes around then invest on some tools to reload!" Save the money for component...
  8. Might be just left over media or dust from the tumbler. Try a media separator (squirrel like)cage!

  13. Why polish? Polishing the brass is not gonna make it shoot any better. Clean with walnut (takes about 2 hours, somewhat dull finish) or clean with corncob (takes about 4 hours, brass looks new....on the outside). Either way, it's good to go. I like the walnut because of the smaller granules...doesn't seen to get stuck in the flash hole as bad, and it last longer than corncob (not that corncob doesn't last, I used the same 10lbs for almost 3 years!) Cause my cousins girlfriend works at pet mart and I don't won't it to go to waist! + I like my brass to look pertty! Lol...
  14. Back in "THE LAB" whipping up a few batches of 45ACP, I made five sets of ten different types of Loads. The 1st set of three are Hornady 230gr xtp/hp,LPP,mix brass with Alliants Power Pistol. I made 10 loads with 3 different charges at 6.0,6.3,and 6.6 I got lotta faith in those but... I also made two, ten sets of Nosler 185gr jhp, same components except the powder charge weight is 7.4gr of Power pistol! My question is is this not a HOT load? Talked to another loader and he said that I can go lower in my charge to 6.7 is that safe? I looked through my loading manuals but I'm not seeing much data using Power pistol for the 185gr bullet can someone lead me in the right direction and ill take it from there? I got a lot of power pistol powder so that is what I want to use, + I like how it works!!!! Thanks in advance!
  15. P.S. Why jeopardize your weapons and your permits?!!!!
