Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm running an Affinity with a Briley tube (everything else is box stock) and it works just fine. Others keep commenting on how light the thing is, but I don't think the recoil is worse than anything else I have shot, and more mild than my mossberg 500. Correction...I'm running an extended Carlsons light modified choke...otherwise stock.
  2. Bought my last 5 from Dillon's site. Now quantity discount, but the price was better than anywhere else when I ordered.
  3. Im using a Franchi Affinity with a Briley tube and its working fine other than being picky on which slugs it wants to launch reliably.
  4. I was looking for 5 of the normal large ones. I placed an order at Dillon yesterday, but doesnt look like they shipped today, and calling them was an impossible mission today. If I dont hear soon, I may take you up on your offer. Thanks
  5. I never would have thought of them, and they didnt come up in my search.....thank you.
  6. I see this problem is also listed in the safari post....feel free to move it over if you are so inclined.
  7. Suddenly (started last night I think) I cant make any post or reply while using Chrome, it either tells me my post is empty or tells me I have to enter a post. Switch over to IE and everything is good. Any ideas?
  8. Anyone have a good source for Tek-Locks at less than 12.99 each? Never thought I would have a need for them, but I see now I was wrong.
  9. Well, I went with 3 6ups and got them Friday. So far I really like them, just wish I had more belt space since I prefer them canted all the way over. Filled them full of dummies and practice a few minutes and I must say it works way better for me than fighting and fumbling shells from a caddy. Thanks for the suggestion Jesse, I'll take a look and maybe add them in the future. I'm just starting, and might get kicked out of the house if I spend any more in the near future. LOL
  10. Think Im leaning towards Taccom due to price and time to deliver (first match is May 5th so Im hoping it can get here)....but now debating the 16up vs 3 6ups.
  11. Does anyone know the size of the Taccom 6up dualload with teklock? I know the 16up is 13 inches wide, and am now debating going with 3 6ups instead for more versatility.
  12. I run 3.8 Titegroup with whatever brass and whatever primers I can find (CCI,Rem, Win have all been within about 50 fps) with 124 MG or 124 Berry at OAL 1.145 and make about 130-131PF with my 5.25 XDM...they feel good and took down all but the most stubborn poppers (translated=hit too low) with 1 hit last year. I have gone up to 4.2gr with no issues testing, but liked the 3.8 load best.
  13. LOL, another $25? The CA backbone is $152 to hold 12 rounds, and the Taccom is $98 to hold 16.........is the CA really that much better to spend over $50 more to hold fewer rounds? If so, how? (As I said, I have never held either, so I only know what I see in the pictures) I was slightly mistaken...$152 is with the back strap...$136 without......still same question (why pay more to hold fewer rounds)?
