I forgot to say earlier that I beleive the Benny Hill, the guy that anwsered your post first builds some pretty good AR's also. Run a search and see what is being said. There is something to be said about a guy that doesn't blow his own horn and speaks highly about another company (JP) as he did in the post above. I don't recall the name of Benny's company, might be Triangle Sports, not sure. Someone around here will know.

Usually a club will let you shoot whatever you have for the first match, so shoot your STI Edge .40 You can then decide what you want to shoot. Watch all the regulars and see what equiptment they are using. It is a fun game.......come and play!

I just ordered a 20" Flat-Top from TTi, haven't received it yet so can't really give you an honest opinion yet. John was very nice to deal with and didn't pressure me in the least. He worked with me and helped me figure out what I wanted and "needed". The audio worked but couldn't see any video, sure sounded cooool! probably something with how I have my computer set up.

I'm looking at getting a rifle from TTi and was wondering if any of you have rifles from them and what your opinions are. Looks like they build quality, just checking to see what others thought. Thanks for your thoughts! TTi Guns

I'm looking at buying my first AR-15. I'll be using this for USPSA, 3 gun, and some varmint shooting. I think I've narrowed it down to a Bushmaster V-Match 20" with a mini Y-comp and a Bushnell 3200 2x7 power scope. What is your opinions on this? Is the trigger going to be ok in the stock Bushmaster or should I spend some more $ and have a gun built by Benny Hill or some other custom gunsmith? What is your opinion on the Bushmaster V-Match with the Y-comp? I can get one for $845 out the door. There is just too many options out there for the new AR buyer to choose from, starting to make my head feel like this....

DJPoLo, What is the dimensions of your bench? Length, Height, and Depth? Do you stand or sit during the reloading process? I have a 650 mounted on the strong mount and will be building a bench in the near future. Thanks

Might be off the topic, but I've seen Redmist10 really smoke with his 625. It is a neat to see someone work the wheel gun magic like he does!

I think that you could shoot this on the local club level as a new shooter however they would probably want you to change to an allowed gun sometime, as you would to since shooting with 2 empty cylinders would "bite" you sometime. I know it would me!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I beleive that .38special is the smallest caliber allowed in SSR which would make 9mm not legal. For your sake I hope I'm wrong, as far as the large groups, that will have to be anwsered by one of the experts.

I have the Wilson Tactical Assault and use it with my Kimber and Springfield fullsize 1911's. I really like the holster....fast and easy on the guns finish.

Why are you guys using small rifle primers and not small pistol primers? I've heard of others doing this, just never asked why. ryucasta, have you actually checked the trigger with a trigger gauge? It shows 1 1/4#? That would be an awesome trigger to have. It is safe to say that Mr. Vanek is going to be real busy!

FYI, According to the latest Tactical Journal from IDPA HQ "holsters that allow adjustment to a forward cant (muzzle forward) will be removed from the holster list" I'm not sure if this is saying just adjustable holsters or all forward cant holsters will be illegal. Info is on pg 12 of the 1st quarter 2003 Tactical Journal.
