Since the ban is over, can anyone own LEO mags now?
  5. Just returned from the Area 5 3-gun match and wanted to say THANKS to all of those hard working people in Michigan that put together a really well organized 2-day match that was very fun and difficult. To all of you that missed it, put it on your calendar for next year! They also had a huge prize tables with alot of goodies.......Thanks to all of the suppliers that donated the items. A big thanks to those that were in charge of putting the prize table together, GREAT JOB!
  6. I really like my comp from TTi Intl.. It is very effective. The RO's say it is very annoying and loud. I think of it is as a bonus to mess with the RO's. It doesn't seem to be that loud for me when I'm shooting it, the noise must be going past me. Check with John at TTi Intl., he is very helpful.
  7. Great Match.....Great Range....Great People! and oh yeah the weather was just perfect! Highly recommend this match!
  8. Barrettone, Thanks and you are right.......the pictures are real pretty. I just figured that I was doing something wrong and not looking in the right place for the descriptions. Thanks and looking forward to the match.
  9. OK, I was able to see the course diagrams but didn't see what the course descriptions. Is the course of fire listed somewhere that I'm not looking? Which stages are pistol, shotgun or rifle? The diagrams sure look interesting. Thanks. I also heard a rumor that there wasn't going to be a Tactical class.......is this correct?
  10. Is the pond shallow enough to wade thru or do we need to be prepared to swim? That is going to be an awesome stage.
  11. Amazing what my little question about carrying mags can provoke. Oh well I got my anwser so keep on with the debates.
  12. I currently have one blade-tech belt holster.....I think I'll go with another one for now after reading these replies. Thanks everone. Anyone have a Blade-Tech AR pouch that they want to get rid of?
  13. I'm thinking about getting a couple of the CR Speed Versa pouches. Do they work well with both of the 1911 single stack .45 mags and the Glock 17 9mm mags? Thanks.
  14. What is the best way to carry your spare AR-15 mags for 3-gun? 1. kydex holster on belt? 2. thigh holster? like 3-gun gear sells How many mags do you carry per stage? One in the gun and 2 spares.....all 30 rounders? Thanks.
  15. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, feel free to move it. In USPSA 3-gun is there a rule regarding the maximum round count for shotgun, rifle, and pistol for an individual stage? I think pistol is 32 rounds max, really curious about shotgun and rifle. Trying to figure out how many rounds I need to be carrying. Thanks.

  21. I recently had the opportunity to go to Northern Georgia with my wife and daughter on vacation and since I have a great wife I was also able to shoot two matches during the week that we were there. The first match I shot was at South River Gun Club near Conyers, GA. Great match with 7 great stages, 180+ rounds, 60 shooters, and was very well organized. The second match I shot was at the Bullseye Range and run by the Gwinnett Practical Shooting League in Lawrenceville, GA. This is an indoor range and I must say for being a small indoor range with 33 shooters and limited time they put together 2 really nice stages for our shooting enjoyment. Thanks to all of those guys that made me feel welcome. I really enjoyed shooting with all of you. I would recommend both of these clubs if you are in the Georgia area and looking for a place to shoot. Just make sure you bring your "A" game because those Georgia boys can shoot! Thanks again, Chad Sims
  22. Chet, don't quite follow what you are saying. The numbers are just for reference only......they don't have anything to do with 1gr more or less. The + and - are just so I don't forget which way increases the charge. Sorry for the confusion.
  23. You all are scaring me! I shoot 200gr SWC's with Hodgon Clays in my Kimber .45 that make well over major and don't see any pressure signs. Maybe I don't know what to look for, what would some pressure signs be? Anybody got any pics of what the primer shouldn't look like?
