  1. I found titegroup to be filthy in my revo. Now I use Clays or 231. MUCH CLEANER Cleanshot is supposed to act like AA#2, but I've never used it.
  2. I saw some in Bass Pro. I've never seen or heard of it before. Anybody ever shoot any of it in a 929?
  3. I like bayou bullets, but this was probably my last order. There's lots of other good stuff out there.
  4. So four and a half months? I ordered on October 1st, so I should be getting mine on Valentine's Day
  5. Yep, with the Dillon I get coated bullets that fall out. The Mr Bullet Feeder was better, but not perfect. The Uniquetek expanded the case too deep, and removed all case tension. I could literally seat the bullets by hand.
  6. Coated for me. They go faster and make minor easier.
  7. I never knew the meaning of happiness until I got married, but by then it was too late
  8. 30 years? I thought he said 40 years, that changes everything.
  9. I use a .250 tall front SDM Super Sight, and the tallest rear blade they make.
  10. I still don't understand how a gun can sit unused for 40 years, and something mechanically change?
  11. I actually had to pay Will Ohara in Southern California to fix mine. He said, who worked on this, a tractor mechanic? And it stuck
  12. There's a tractor mechanic in Phoenix that used to be a highway patrol officer. He can ***k it up for you real good. Ask me how I know. .
  13. So sitting for forty years caused a mechanical failure? (I'm not a gunsmith)
  14. I had Morgan Optical in New York make me a pair of Rangers with the right lens +1.0, and none in the left lens. I went with rose colored lenses, and they really make the red fiber optic POP. They work great.
  15. Yep, that's what I use. An SDM Super Sight front, and I open the rear notch up to .150 on a .196 rear. It helps my old eyes.
  16. You guys stink. On Facebook I got a bunch (incorrect) answers. The best one was: "Pretty simple answer. Buy more revolvers to check."
  17. Oh, I found out the dial caliper I bought from Dillon 35 years ago was off by .001, so I adjusted it.
  18. I was surfing Amazon and came across "pin gauges". So I ordered three. .356, .357, .358 They were only a few bucks each. Well now that I've got them I cleaned the three guns I wanted to check. My 627, 686+, and 929. The .357 pin fits thru the throats on all three guns. The .358 pin didn't go thru any of them. So, now that I know this, what do I do? Just toss them in my tool box?
  19. Yes, exactly, thanks, me too.
