  1. Agreed, everything is more expensive now. If primers ever come down to $45 a thousand, I'd be surprised. If you had a product you could sell for $90, what would be your motivation to sell it for $45?
  2. I have both the Rough Country and The Wiegand rear blade. Both work fine.
  3. Yeah, definitely going to have it looked at. No tumbling, just a very little leading around the forcing cone. For me, I can keep a 4-5 inch group at 25 yards, double action. That's about the same as I can do with a 1911.
  4. I'm not a gunsmith, and I don't play one on TV I shoot a S&W 627. My buddy convinced me to buy a range rod from Brownell's. The pin that fits down the barrel is .346, the pin that fits thru chambers is .357. A difference of .011. I cleaned my gun, put a little oil on the range rod/.346 pin, pulled the trigger and held it back, and slid the range rod down the barrel. On two or three chambers I get a slight "tick" as it goes in. The rest slide in freely. Now that I know this information, what do I do with it? I shoot coated bullets, and the gun doesn't lead excessively. Thoughts?
  5. From the back of the gun it looks GREAT to me

  7. Nothing is as cheap as it was two years ago. Here's gas today in So Cal. Primers will never be as cheap as they once were.
  8. https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/299466-model-17-8-cylinder-help/ Can you post some picture please? I'm not a gunsmith, I'm just curious.
  9. Under no circumstances use this tractor mechanic. He screwed up my revolver so bad I had to take it to another gunsmith. When he looked at it he said, who the hell did the work on this, it's terrible. I had to pay for the same work twice. I'm hoping Frank Glenn has retired so he doesn't screw up anybody else's gun.
  10. I found a guy that sells once fired 9mm brass sorted by headstamp, wet tumbled, roll sized and de primed for 85 bucks, delivered. PM me if you want his info. I've used him in the past, I was just trying to save some money.
  11. For me, on my 750 with Lee dies, it pops the de priming pin up. So I've got to stop, grab two wrenches, and reset the pin. It's a pain in the butt.
  12. Yeah, I'm loading on a Dillon 750 with Lee dies. When I hit a piece of Norma, it's a hard stoppage.
  13. For me I just tumble the brass, then look at the headstamps. If it's got a brass primer and is a Norma, into the trash it goes.
  14. Damn, how did I miss the 2022 Western States Revolver Championship in Mesa az ? I guess it was on Friday. Anybody shoot it? https://practiscore.com/results/new/158922
  15. ...that thought putting a small flash hole in 9mm brass was a good idea? .
  16. The rear blade comes in different heights. I use a .196. Cheap, like 10 bucks. Midway sells the whole kit. You need a blade, screw, nut, pin and spring. Lots of videos on how to do it.
  17. I like SDM, the fiber optic is bigger than the rest. I open the rear notch to .150 It give me a great sight picture.
