  1. It means that you can safely use any load data for a bullet of a given weight. Jacketed, plated, coated, pick a load, chrono it, have fun. Loading 9mm mInor isn't rocket surgery.
  2. Blah blah blah, I load coated, plated, and jacketed bullets all the same. Granted I've only load a couple of hundred thousand rounds, but so far so good.
  3. Here you go https://hodgdonreloading.com/?_ga=2.132485577.613227771.1617405910-1897709409.1616263109
  4. Chuck a Lyman VLD inside chamfer tool in a drill and go to town. The front is flat so you can't go too deep.
  5. I've shot a ton of 124 Match Winners in both my handguns and AR9. They load well, feed well, and perform well. No issues.
  6. I think the real take-away is you need to know what works in YOUR gun. My gun won't turn with a .040 in there.
  7. Please don't bring logic and reason to an internet discussion
  8. That's because 9mm bullets are .355, and 929 barrels are usually .357.
  9. Agreed, I have a five inch 627 and a five inch 929. Smith missed the ball on 6.5" and a useless comp.
  10. Oh, just an fyi. If you're loading for a modern .357 gun, 9mm load data is a good starting place for .38 Short Colt. DO NOT USE 9mm LOAD DATA IN OLD .38 SHORT COLT GUNS.
  11. I shoot .38 Short Colt loaded to 9mm specs in all my .38 Special / .357 guns. So far so good
  12. Mine was doing that. It was the Allen screw at the bottom of the ram. Once I tightened that up, no more rotation.
  13. Bullet creep, moves forward. I've had one laying in the cylinder with the powder behind it.
  14. So there you have it. Much like Goldilocks, it's either too much crimp, not enough crimp, or just right. Happy Easter to All
  15. I don't go by what it measures, I load a few and pull one. I go by what it looks like.
  16. Here's a link to Gene's ad. I've bought 1000s of once fired brass from him. It's all tumbled, roll sized, and deprimed. https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1602640
  17. Cool, can you post when it's live?
