  1. kelly it's ben fortin I am thinking about going into the iron sight world. Could you give me some hints on the pris

  2. For the people shooting this match for the first time I would like to let them know that this is a really good match, and I can't wait to shoot it.
  3. It is full I have a room reserved at days inn in boonivill I am not going to use. Let me know because I am going to cancel the room.
  4. How did you attach the caddies to the molly?
  5. Are you squadded with us? Are you sleeping in Kurts closet again? The real question is are you squadded with me?
  6. Getting ready for the kick off of the 3gun season, and I can't wait. I have never shot this match, but I have heard nothing but good things about it.
  7. Linda is running 2 or 3 match sign ups right now, and I am sure she will let all of us know as soon as she gets a chance. I would just give her a little time and a lot of really good dark chocolate.
  8. Do you guys know if this match is full? I was an ro last year, but won't be able to this year.
  9. Robert You would not go wrong with either reticle, but I would go with the H58 in a long rang scope. The H58 will give you plenty of wind hold with 2 mil's on each side of center of the reticle, but it will also give you a lot of clean glass on each side of the reticle. The H58 will also let you see the number references on the sides of the reticle. The arch going over the top of the reticle is a quick ranging grind on 12 inch targets.
  10. Hey when are you guys going to start having the 3gun matches?

  11. I have just thrown up a little in my mouth..... This is gonna be great fun, but as I like my beauty sleep and shoot better after lots of rest .... I dont think I should shoot in the AM catagory but will shoot the PM catagory who presumably start shooting just after midday. Hey budy the only tea time around here is for golf. Dang limies want everything their way.
  12. think am would be good. I hear the match will be great no matter what division you shot, and as jeff so nicely posted I get my own clinic. Jeff I am going to charge $500 a head.
  13. Sir I am sure that the Horus reticule is being deployed a lot more than you are implying.
  14. You are just TCFW (To cute for words!) I didn't think it was very cute at all. Tea and trumpets
  15. MODOC I have some good friends of mine that shoot cowboy action, and they are very good. We will race sometimes on the range starting with empty shotguns to see who can get 8 rounds off faster. I will win most of the time at around 7 to 7 and a half seconds, but my friend is doing it in right around 8 to 8 and a quarter seconds. So by that standard you would be alright, but the bigger problem you are going to run into is carying enough shotgun shells for a 15 to 20 round shotgun stage. Also I don't think the lever gun will hold up very long in major matches. If your cowboy guns are anything like my friends you won't want to tear them up in a major match. I would however shoot a local match in a hart beat with the shotguns you are running. I can't speak for all local matches, but most local matches in my neck of the woods usually shoot about 50 round or less for the whole day. I would just hate to see you spend a lot of money to get into a big match, and break your shotguns because part sometimes are really hard to find for cowboy guns. As for building a shotgun just for the sport you can just a easily pick up a used shotgun ( I like Benelli M2 fields) put a 8 to 9 round tube extension on it, and when you are not three gunning you can still us the shotgun for bird hunting or something. I like to bring my shotgun out when my daughters boy friend comes over. I hope this helps.
