  1. I've always had to put up with my British friends/colleagues taking the mickey out of my by telling me that American beer is like "making love in a canoe" (translation available via PM for those who are unacquainted with the metaphor). Yet, when we had a meeting in Florida and I asked the Brits to go for the beer that would satisfy them, they came back with (hold on to your chair) Miller Light. WHAT'S WRONG WITH MILLER LIGHT????????
  2. Great service to post the stages in advance! I am looking forward to see them in real, bit hard to imagine now at what distances clays and metals wil be. Starting position according 8.2.2.2 is not what i often ran into at matches in (mainland) Europe so i was a bit surprised to see about 50% of the stages require this. Just spend a few hours dry and live-fire practice on that starting position now. Never had to shoot at a LaRue either! On paper most shooting area's dont look big so maybe a few rounds will be loaded while standing. All in all looking forward to accomplish to the best of my ability the offered challenges See you all there Greetings Adrie [/quot what is 8.2.2.2.2.2.2.
  3. Looks like 10 wildcards will be handed out based on performance in the Nationals: 3-Gun Nation Wildcards Also looks like the event (up to the man-on-man shoot-off) is Tactical only... That is great, because I would hate to see someone miss out on this because of a deployment, or because they just couldn't make it to three matches.
  4. I heard Chris Sechiatano won Tac Optics and Clint Upchurch won Open. Congrats to Chris and Clint
  5. Look I would get a used Benelli before I got anything elts. Look on gun broker or something elts and get a used turkey gun make sure it doesn't have a ported barrel. Most of your hunting shotguns are not going to have a high round count. With a Benelli it would be like getting a new gun for way less, and if you are just getting into it any other used gun you will pay way more for the gun smithing to get it running half way like a Benelli. Good luck happy shooting
  6. I did the same thing until I spoke with Kurt Miller and Benny Hill. I broke my carrier latch, and I think it was because I had way too much spring. Benny and Kurt told me to cut it 12" about the end of the tube, and I was hesitant at first, but will never second guess again.
  7. We are all sorry for being pains in your back sides, but I am sure there will be all kinds of special and different very very good dark chocolates from all over the country and maybe even the world. Thank you Linda for all of your help.
  8. Linda, Would there be room for a fourth? Jeremy Ask them. Send a PM to FB3GDQ, Chris, & mike.45 Linda Chico (L-2035) 2010 Pan American Shotgun Match Co-Match Director Hi Linda, Can you please add Jeremy also. I thought his name was on the list already. Thanks Yes can we please add him.
  9. Mike thanks I think you are the only one that has put me on a list, but don't forget Jermy Parker he has finally got a Benelli. I kind of like the team Rock Castle idea my self. About time too... Funny how it had to come down to his wife getting fedup with his other gun and finally "forcing" him to get a Benelli Oh, and dont forget Chris S, he's also pretty darn good with a shotgun... Thanks gose. I'm interested if there is a Rock Castle team. Chris we will line this up on the 28th. Team Rock Castle is looking better every day.
  10. I don't understand at all what any of you are trying to do. All of my stuff is still stock and runs fine, but what so these mods do for loading?
  11. This is my rear sight folded down, and if you are interested I for a small fee I can show you how to take awesome pics like this too. Sorry about the pictures, but it is early in the am and my wife's camera. I hope this helps you out. For the rear sight the guy have to cut it a little on the lath.
  12. I have a M2 , and I had a Dawson persision front sight dove tailed and pined in, and a 1022 rear sight that flips up and down like all of the cool guys put in my shotgun. I have a 50 m point of aim stacking rounds with man slugs going to sight in the reduced recoil soon. I shoot a LM chock in mine. I had some weirdo from Oklahoma told me to use it. Now I just need to get my hands on some silver solder.
  13. Linda would it be possible to have a team Rock Castle? Mike was telling me about some really good DARK CHOCOLATE that he just loves from across the pond, and I beat we could work out a really good coffee deal up at Rock Castle. and we won't tell anyone about it.
  14. Mike thanks I think you are the only one that has put me on a list, but don't forget Jermy Parker he has finally got a Benelli. I kind of like the team Rock Castle idea my self.
  15. Pics look great Pat thanks for all of the help at MGM, see you at Pan Am
  16. Very nice!!! GO ROCKSTAR!!!!! Adios, TG Thanks Travis for a great match. I had a blast shooting with Pat Kelly and Jeff.
  17. The scope is not as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. No it is not a SB or an Leupold, but I like the one that I shoot. You can find fault with just about any scope or reticle if you look hard enough. In my opinion BDC reticle is right up there with a second focal plan scope.
  18. Thanks Greg it has been a hoot. Can't wait to see you down the road.
  19. I am sorry to hear you didn't like your Black bird. I have been running one since shot show and love it. The reticule was not designed around 3-gunning alone. The reticule is a very good all around reticule for a person that can't afford a scope just for 3-gunning and another one for hunting. Now I know you can order the black bird with different reticules I think. As for the Illumination it was designed for low light situations. I use my 3-gun AR for coyote hunting, and that is when I us the illumination. I would keep my watching Horus Vision because I am sure that they are going to have a lot of new scopes coming out soon.
