  1. It happens on the first couple of shells, but not all of the time. if I give it a good jerk or tape the but of the gun on the table or play with the bolt release the shell will then go onto the loading gate and chamber. other than that it runs great. It happens way more when I am practicing loading with dummy rounds that the shells won't release down on to the loading gate.
  2. I have an M2 tac, and when I activate the little button beside the trigger guard to eject a shell onto the loading gate half of the time the shell will hang up and won't go on the loading gate. So I guess I have two questions where and what spring do I need to get so the lever will get out of the way and the shell will go on the loading gate. The second question is how often should I change out most of the springs in my shotgun? I know this is a open ended question with round count and what not, but lets say I have shot 5,000 rnds , and reloaded it about another 2,000 with dummy rnds.
  3. leupold 1x8 was at shot show and it was really cool. You can get a couple of different reticles in it, but I would like to have the H 58. Also Horus Vision has a 1.5 x 8 it is called the Black Bird, and it has the H 58 reticle.
  4. Is there a match web site for this I can't find one anywhere
  5. Using a 100m zero can be used with out using you elevation knob. Using 55gr and and an 18" barrel my muzz vel is about 2900 fps. With a 100m zero as long as I know my holds I can us it out to long ranges with out using elevation knob. My mill holds are in general 200m is a .41 mil 250m is a .75 mil hold 300m is a 1.13 mil hold over, and so on. I have a mill dot recital in my scope so it is easy for me to use hold overs with out dialing, and I have pushed my regular .223, 55gr out to 700m on 12" plate. With first round hits. Now with out a mill dot recital and a 100m zero to hit a 6" plat at 200m hold at the top of the plate and you should hit the plate in the nose to slightly hight in the nose area. Now another thing to consider on long range shots is if you are shooting first or second focal plain scopes. With a first focal plain scope your zero does not shift but your recital changes in size when you change the magnification on the scope. A second focal plain scope the recital stay the same with but the zero shifts when the scope magnification is changed. With a second focal plain scope you will notice the zero shift at greater distances. I hope this does not confuses anybody about long range shooting. FB3GDQ- AWESOME name bro! thanks

  7. Damn Trapr....WELL SAID! I totally agree. [/left] I think that the matches could represent the region the match is being held in. There are lots of matches to go to, and if there s a match in the desert or plains area and a shooter doesn't like shooting longer distance then that might not be the match for them. I think the harder part of having longer range shots is having ro's that can call correct hit.
  8. look have to do the same thing with a Benelli 18 barrel. What kind of groups can you get with your knew sights and slugs at 50 meters? The only reason I ask is because the sight looks a little fat for a good group.
  9. I'll try and put my shotgun on safe this time, and let's work on stage 6
  10. Ok I have 18" Benelli M2 tactical and I love it. I love the way it runs, and I love its reliability. The problem I have is it has an 18" tactical barrel. I am having a hard time finding sights for it, and for the price of an new barrel (if I could find one) I could trade the Benelli and get an FN ready to go. The FN MK1 SLP comes race ready, but I worry about the reliability of a gas gun to my Benelli, and the weight compared to my Benelli. So first how reliable is the FN mk1 compared to the Benelli? Second does anyone have any good ideas for putting good sights on a 18" tactical barrel?
  11. Hey I have a question for anyone I am shooting an m2 18" barrel and I need better sights. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can go about placing sights on a tactical barrel?
  12. I have an 18" benelli m2 tactical. I need to put sights on it can anyone help me out with this.
