  1. I use to run the same setup. I left everything stock; I changed the barrel and the recoil spring. I went with a stainless steel one from Glockstore. The sku is T0960-B. I had no issues. If you are using the stock 40 recoil spring, then that might be causing your problem. Just a thought.
  2. I sent you a private message Kneelingatlas, can PM a good source for 9mm and 40 S&W conversions. Thanks.
  3. Try the grams springs and follower kits. I shoot Tanfoglio with MecGar mags and these are the springs we use.
  4. Canadians don't count Canadians have Extreme Line... =)That is hitting below the belt.
  5. For giggles try moving to the next recoil spring up. I had the same problem with my Stock III and I went from a 7lb spring to an 8lb spring and the problem was solved. I hate to see you start changing a whole bunch of springs and possibly introduce more problems.
  6. What *thumb rest [generic]* is that on your Limited?
  7. I load my 124's at 1.125 and they shoot very well.
  8. How heavy does it need to be for IDPA? It's definitely lighter than the rest of my unicorn herd but still a fine gun. If no one takes it sooner than later than I may make it a steel gun only, who knows, lol Sent from my flux capacitor For ESP the max weight is 43oz.
  9. Who has them? I want a new one.
  10. I wonder if there is a way to build up the EG grips. I should that if epoxy is used, will it stick or just peel off?
  11. Jim Jones at J&L Gunsmithing can do it also.
  12. Somebody is on something for that price., which is way to high.
  13. Call Jim Jones at J&L Gunsmithing, I know he has them.
  14. I had the same problem with mine. I had the beavertail shaved down a little and it fit in the box. It was snug but I got it in.
  15. I use a Limited Pro for Limited Division. I got lucky because I can get parts and support from Jim Jones at J&L Gunsmithing. I can get parts and weapons. He keeps a good supply of stuff. Jim turned me on to Tanfoglios and when I made the change I quickly watched my times drops and my accuracy go up. If you take care of the gun it will last; I know this because I beat the crap out of mine.
  16. If you want to stay with 9mm and shoot Production - you just have to buy a DA Witness. Shooting minor (9mm) in any other classification (Limited, L10, etc) means that every time you miss the A zone (and hit the B, C or D zone) you lose points - simply because you're not shooting "major" (a .40 or .45). So, yes, if you want to shoot Limited, get the Witness (SA) in .40 caliber. +1 on this one. I tried Limited minor for a while and the disadvantage isn't work it, unless you slow down a bit to make all "A" hits. if you slow down then you are sacrificing time and then you are at another disadvantage.
