  1. After twenty three in a half years of legally being in the US my wife for over twenty three years had her US Naturalization interview at 1030 and then was sworn in at 1400 today as a US Naturalized Citizen. How's that for the feds being efficient. The people being sworn in today were so happy and it was nice to see those that appreciate what our Country has to offer unlike many of those that are born here that take their freedom for grant it.
  2. Kids are great at that age, a priceless memory. Btw, I had the day off, with pay.
  3. Wideners has always given me good service not the fastest shipper online, but good none the less. Right now like many online vendors they are behind on orders.
  4. Police host benefit for injured officer I met Tim years ago, he's a fellow IPSC shooter and it's very unfortunate for this to happen. Tim's a good guy and a good shooter.
  5. Ted was on one of the newer Anthony Bourdain No Reservations television show, worth watching.
  6. Looks like someone did their homework.

Are these the same people that took out the loans knowing they couldn't afford it and now the government is going to bail them out?
  8. I have the black version of the converse, they're comfortable and wear well, but I've only worn them for shooting a couple of times. Worn mostly on the job.
  9. I got the carrier as well, but haven't had a chance to install on my new M2.
  10. Hi Bill, Here's the contact email address that I have to find out exactly what's needed: threegun@verizon.net
  11. Nope. And it will also never come back down. Don't say that.
  12. Anyone know where to order a magazine spring for the SX2 Practical?
  13. The mention of Larry was just my lead in to the stupid backward phrase. I could not think of a name for that one, so I just used Larry's stage saying... Larry has slimmed up a lot. He may look like a slob to you, thats OK. But Larry and Ron White are two of my favorite comedians. I like there shtick, not their looks! They put out some funny stuff.
  14. If you feel full lengths aren't needed, why do you have them in your comp guns? Do you have bull barrels in your comp guns?
  15. I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you're in the PDX area, there's an all-shotgun match at TriCounty Gun Club in Sherwood on Sunday March 30. Be there by 830am. 150 birdshot, 10 slugs. TriCounty Gun Club I plan on being there. Doubt I'll have the Benelli by then 5-10 working days, but I'll have the SX2.
  16. What's reasonably moist? I use this stuff called Blink right now, is there something better? I'll try the Refresh Contacts before I insert them like BritinUSA suggested. I've been using B&L RENU Lubricating & Rewetting Drops for several years now. Target has a store brand that is, best I can tell, the same stuff. Went to Costco today to get a second opinion on the contacts. Took an exam, fitting, right eye was the same, but the left differed a little, doc gave me a pair to try for a week, so far so good. Get this, its the same brand, but working a lot better, I don't get it.
  17. If you don't trust full lengths on your carry gun, why do you for competition? I also dont have 2# triggers on my carry guns. But I do on my comp. guns. No Im not of the tacti-cool crowd. I just said what works for ME. A tuned extractor, good sights and a good reliability tune up is definitley alot higher on my list than an FLGR. Never said you're part of the tacticool crowd, really could care less if you were. If you don't trust full length for carry why would you trust them on your comp gun, just trying to figure it out. My comp guns came with FLGR. Both STI and PARA. My main single stack gun a Caspian I built has one because I think the extra weight might help out with recoil. As far as reliability Im not sold on it. It may actually help out ( I ) just havent seen it. Maybe you have. As far as carry guns go I do like the ability to rack the slide against a wall or whatever if I need to. Will I ever need to? Probably not, just like the ability to do so. Nothing drastic or anything. If you like FLGR go for it. Like I said before I just dont think its neccesary on a properly set up gun. I've used full lengths for years, no problems.
