Savings is an issue when I'm trying to get two of my sons into the sport and also trying to do it on a school bus drivers wage.

Frankly, I don't know what the heck to believe. I have a source for moly coated(lead)230 rn $49k and 200 swc $43k and my source says they are clean, don't smoke, accurate, and are about $15+ cheaper a thousand than jacketed or plated. Moly still isn't as cheap as lead, but fairly close.
