  1. The Ed Brown memory groove grip safety is probably the most used grip safety by gunsmiths. If you are looking for a high grip, you should look at the Wilson hi ride ambi thumb safety to help you getting the highest grip possible.
  2. I use this stool by Kobalt, set it on the highest position so I can look into the powder case - I pull the stool real close to the bench so I can actually lean back against the back rest & it keeps me from standing on my aching knees.
  3. You may want to add Vertx tactical pants in your search - my favorite along with Tru Spec, & I know many women wear them also, with Julie G. being a sponser of theirs - U.S. Cav & L.A. Police Gear would be a good place to shop for them.
  4. How'd she look & feel Scooter - that one is mine that Bobby built for me.
  5. I'm having a CR Speed, RHT being put on my new S_I Open gun right now - Shooter's Connection usually has them in stock.

    No, he shoots a 34 in Production & a 24 in Limited.
  7. Blake Miguez won the Standard Division, from TT's facebook.
  8. Very well stated. You should go into the practice of law. Your regard for the concept "doing the right thing" as an old fashioned, out-dated ideal doesn't diminish it's worth in the least. 1. Your contempt for my career choices doesn't make your suggestion pejorative, regardless of the underlying tone or its reasoning. 2. "Doing the right thing" is inherently subjective and I simply place the balance differently. As I see it, 'doing the right thing' is delivering what you promised. If you didn't promise that it'd go more than 50 rounds without an unexpected failure, then you've done your duty and owe nothing additional. Saying that he owes more than he promised might seem like 'doing the right thing' to you, but that I don't agree with your viewpoint doesn't entitle you to belittle my viewpoint, which is not only well supported and reflected in the last thousand years of our legal and commercial system, but also entirely ethically sound until you can defend some general duty of sellers to warranty the product they're selling. If a seller of used goods had to warranty every transaction in which they entered, the price of a used gun would probably be so close to the price of a new one that nobody would want to buy it anyway--an end that'd be entirely inconsistent with the world of commerce in which we live. The idea that entirely reasonable people can't disagree on what 'doing the right thing' means doesn't seem like a 'forum' discussion to me. Insulting another poster for striking the balance in another place than where you strike it doesn't seem like good faith to me, but I'll let other readers decide. If the seller promised a puppy and delivered a fish, we'd be having an entirely different discussion. Based on the information expressed in this thread, he delivered what he promised, and an unfortunate consequence was that someone, through the fault of neither party, was disappointed. Fortunately for both parties, a remedy exists--the manufacturer will fix the product and make both parties whole, free of charge. To me, I can't think of a more perfect outcome to such an undesirable scenario. You've attempted to justify your reasoning - I myself & I would guess in the neighborhood of 99% of Enos members would have just swallowed hard & taken the gun back. I personally couldn't live with myself not doing what's right, & would do the HONORABLE thing, take the Edge back & have STI fix it. You can continue your attempts to justify your thoughts, but my guess would be if you ever want to continue to be a part of the Enos family,as Nike says, "Just Do It", FWIW.
  9. After what Coach did to that poor little goat last year, it would have to be an improvement - too bad no one had a camera.
  10. I'd be honored to be in your squad again Coach - now let the BS begin!
  11. went there but they don't show the 333 or 272 Go here - this is where I bought mine @ Zappos. http://zapp.me/7676755
  12. Super job Ben - no one deserved to be champion more than you!
  13. I highly recommend the Inov-8 Mudclaw 333 - great traction, lightweight & comfortable all day - although I did take the recommendation from Dave Re. Inov-8 mudclaws.bmp
  14. I like an aggressive stipple - grab & go with this one.
  15. You get my vote, ran your stage great, & I'm sure Dan would love to have you back again.
  16. I was sitting in 1st class on a US Air flight from Pittsburgh to Orlando, landed 20 minutes early, didn't know a thing until I turned my cell phone on,, had a panic message from my father to call him at once, I thought something may have happened to my mom, & he was releaved to hear my voice - something I'll always remember.
  17. All my transactions have gone smooth - they're good to go in my opinion.
  18. Darren: I bet you could sell a bunch of them (count me as your 1st customer) - love the design & profile - I'll buy the one for a Lefty today - would look great on my new Open I'm having built
  19. Sorry, it's EHP-MC1 (Electronic-Hearing-Protection).
  20. Retail is $599 - 500 if you are a Veteran, LEO or NRA life member, and as with most things, you get what you pay for, & hearing protection is not where you want to go cheap on quality - in this obsession we have, not a lot of money when you look at all we spend for this sport.
  21. I have a pair of ESP-MC1 (mini-canal) electronic plugs that I love; they have 4 setting adjustments to hear conversations, but offer full protection when a gun blast goes off (I've sold both a pair of MSA Sordin Supremes & Pro Ears Gold) as there is no comparison.
  22. I have had good luck with KG-5 wet trigger lube, don't use it everytime I field strip, but it seems to help in my competition guns.
  23. Actually CR Speed makes one, their speed pedal thumbrest - I bought one earlier this year & am having it installed on my new custom Open gun.
  24. ISMI makes one for a G24, just bought one from Chris Patty(CPWSA) - ordered & recieved in 3 days - can't get better than that - also bought an ISMI 13 & 15# springs to see which works better.
  25. You pretty much can make your grip as custom as you want, & can even go as far as creating a tumor on it (like Micah likes it).
