  1. Dof! Too small for major Heavy Metal. Still minor with a "midi"power factor. Dang it Patrick. TomB
  2. Happy BDay BS and all! And Siggy, please don't get James started on the JD, you never know where you'll end up. See my new avatar. TomB
  3. "Doing manly stuff is expected. Shooting is considered manly." Gotta like that. Enjoyable thread DP. Keep up the good "work".
  4. They don't care if you shoot matches on the weekends?
  5. Oh that's easy. It's me calling in sick, no shave, looking for something good on the TV. The beer is unopened because I am waiting for the clock to strike twelve. I can't explain the Yankees Tshirt, it's not mine but was probably the only thing handy that didn't stink too bad, don't know where it came from honey, and yes I meant to go to work today. I usually blame stuff like this on 3QT...
  6. Great vacation idea Flex. I might skip King's Island, though it might not be bad during the week. The Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point is defintely a rush. I think if you go to their website you can do a simulated ride. Going up was a trip, coming down was more than breathtaking.
  7. Do a search on our Glcok forum.AH16P has posted his pictures of his tricked out G37 for L10.
  8. Steve Anderson's website has some interesting stuff on breaking down a stage. He's on the Dealer Forum here. His book on dry firing is really good too.

    Short Rifle

Man, those AK-74 brakes are hard on an RO's ears. Cool looking AR though. Quite practical.
  10. I'd be more worried about the RO falling over in suprise to see you back out shooting! Welcome back PDG45. Tom Bergman PS I saw you there but you were not in my squad. Any problem arise about the Beretta?
  11. If you are going to have the TV on, what else could you be watching? NCState just dropped the defending champs, UConn. It's tough to repeat. I'm a Michigan State/Tom Izzo fan. I drew West Virginia in our pool, and they are playing out of their minds. Great stuff.

    SMM3G 2005

High speed fun for sure. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Jake, I like what Sam said. Growth is almost never accomplished without some pain. You'll be better for it sooner than you even think. TomB
  14. Good find on the UPS shipping Dave. As in not shipping from an individual to an FFL unless it's for repairs. No comment on the policies of these businesses we are apparently forced to use.
  15. The Honda CRV sport utility has Real Time All Wheel drive. I think it even says that on the back of the trucklet. Honda sells alot of them here in the USA. I'm not sure if this means anything.
  16. We'll give you an "A" for effort then. And thank you for your honesty, another key attribute of a real man ( to keep in the spirit of the thread, I think )
  17. That is excellent Duane Thomas! You are a truly rounded individual. "Baroquen Spirits" from the So Long Ago the Garden album, produced by George Martin (of Beatles fame). Truly a great compilation of music. Now I have to come up with something for ya.How about a slightly used Ghost Rocket connector for a Glock? PM me a mailing address. How'd you get it BTW? Tom Bergman
  18. "How can you respect a man who needs you more than you need him?" If anyone gets the song or singer that spun that line I will come up with some kind of prize. Carinab, let me echo Mr.Sunshine's thanks.
  19. Hailey and Emily are defintely the best things he has ever had a hand in creating. But the Friday Flame war is also on 3QT's top ten list. The intent: Get it off your chest. Tease a shooting buddy. Either a little rant or a little good -natured teasing with no repercussions, no replies needed, and no attitudes please. Did I get it right Mista FMoney? I've been known to be a little hard on the 3Qt , so I want to accord him a little credit here. FLAME ON!! TomB

    Open Glock 19?

There's a pic on here somewhere *I believe* of a fellow who made a quasi-open gun out of a 19 for his kids to shoot. It looked cool but I don't think it was intended as a serious Open blaster. Maybe try the picture thread? I can see the gun in my mind, I'm just not sure where I saw it . A magwell didn't work on a G26 I tried, don't know about the 19. G26 Open-the ultimate shorty? "More comp, I need more comp!" "Wait! I mean barell. I need more barell!" Just a little fantasy I had one sleepless night.
  21. But the question came up. I did a search, really, but it was a little murky. Perhaps we could have a sticky thread, since it is very cool of Brian to let us trade blasters here, and alot of us are doing it? My understanding is you must ship next day air via UPS or Fed Ex to an FFL for a firearm transfer (from a non FFL). Do I need a signed FFL from the shippee? I can't wait to see how wrong I am. TomB
  22. I have "read" that the Isreali's carry their pistols empty chamber and train to rack the slide when drawing. I doubt if it is that much slower with practice. I carry DA, loaded chamber in a pocket holster, every day, everywhere. No Speedos though ,that would scare the hell out of everyone that knows me,that is, me in a Speedo. I wouldn't hesitate to carry SA cocked and locked if I could conceal it. The Para LDA's seem like the best of both worlds.
