  1. I know that you asked about using the Serpa in USPSA, but the detectives in my police department use this holster and I believe that the answer to your question is just repetitions. I have used this holster a lot in a "on duty" staus and have found it to be a very natural and quick holster, for one that has a mechanical release. Just spend some time and you'll be fine.
  2. OH YEAH !!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping Ole Miss can have a good season.
  3. +1 on this. I am a little to scared to go fast. I want to make sure each one has powder.
  4. What is the goal? Is the drill the goal? Or, is the drill a means to learning a skill (or skill set)? Is the draw a big part of the exercise? Or, is it just included in getting to the meat of the exercise ? I'd likely break it down into pieces and examine the parts. That is an interesting thought. The reason I brought it up was because of practising a drill (learning a skill set) that was initated by a draw. The real meat and potatoes of the exercise was really transitions.
  5. And then you still have that stupid song going in your head for an hour
  6. That would certainly be a "keeper"... very cool.
  7. I can stand the aches and pains when I first wake up , I can handle deminished physical skills , I'm okay with the hair turning gray...but I am going crazy as my vision deteriorates...auuuggggh.
  8. Your making me jealous here in central FLorida...but I try not to complain about the hot, because I hate the cold. Just under 70 is soooo perfect.
  9. I was wondering about the extended warranty protection for the Mini Cooper. Has anybody had any experience with it and can tell it it is worth the $$$.
  10. Yep..sometimes crazy people make so much sense it is scarey
  11. There is plenty of good shooting opportunities in this area, and tons of really great folks to guide you along. Welcome.
  12. Thanks for the stages Shannon. I'm sure I can think my way into trouble now
  13. If it were to be a team based competition this is what I would suggest. Each team has an accomplished High Power, Cowboy, USPSA, 3 Gunner, Precision Rifle, Sporting Clays, etc shooter on their team. The teams compete in events against each other in all these different disciplines. Here's the catch, the expert in that sport doesn't shoot, its his job to be the coach/trainer for the others prior to the event. Now this is a good idea!!!!
  14. I have seen this before, but not in awhile. This was a very good way to start the day.
  15. So cool to have a commercial you aren't wanting to fast forward through.
  16. Legal...I don't know ..but it sure looks like fun
  17. I have often read that we should only be practicing perfect technique. With that in mind, if practicing a drill that requires a draw, and the draw is muffed, should the repetition be continued (because you have to finish in a match), or should the repetition be stopped and begun again with a perfect draw?
  18. Is there a big difference in the gas mileage for the standard and the "S". My wife is really wanting one, and that will mean the Xterra is mine
  19. or the blinky lights on the corners of their vehicles... or that the shiney things and the blinky lights can be used simultaneously. -rvb But they sure know how to use that HORN
