  1. Would it be a similar approach to running, biking, swimming, or lifting weights? If you practice faster (or heavier), then that soon becomes your "norm"?
  2. I certainly understand what your saying...now I have to learn the process. Thanks for the comments..I'm gonna learn it. I do know you can "over think" long range rifle shots. I have often proved to myself that if I take my mind out of the process and let it happen more naturally that there is greater success.
  3. Is this the same concept used for performing reloads??? I was told that during the reload process to make sure you are looking and thinking about the last target to be shot, then look and think about the reload, then look and think about the next target to be shot. It was explained that if you are still thinking about how "messed up" your reload was while trying to aquire your next target that you will end up "messing up" those shots as well.
  4. Thanks for a very timely post. These are just the thngs I need to be thinking about.
  5. Congraats.....It seems you did a great job, especially to have not gotten the gun till two weeks prior. I haven't shot the CUP in 10 years but have given it a thought for next year. It is the most pressure, but the most fun I've ever had in shooting. What load did you use. Again..way-to-go.
  6. One hit off the crack pipe and your hooked. After being away from the sport for 10 years I shot one IPSC match, just for giggles...and now I am setting up my new Dillion 550 and trying to figure which gun I want to shoot. I lost all my stuff in a divorce, but saved two guns. This is such a cool forum, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. I'll sure try to learn to use the search option. See ya around !!!
