  1. Who the heck is Patrick Plannagin? He is an "Xtreme Sport Shooter", does a lot of fast shoot, hand thrown clay stuff. Video of Patrick Trey
  2. They also just signed Patrick Flanigan. I was shocked to see him leave Winchester, but one of his posts had mentioned that he plans to beat all of his previous speed records with the new Mossberg. Trey
  3. I did the same thing, this is the one I am using: Lowe's Timer This one was $14 when I bought it, looks like it is only $12 now. It is the same one a shooting-reloading company sells for $25+ship. 2 outlets on it as well. Trey Wow, SPAM!!
  4. Idon't know what to think! She almost definitely looked like she stopped turned toward the camera and was talking. I have watched the video several times and I'm still torn.
  5. Also remember that Brian is just a phone call away. Let him know what you want to do and he will let you know the best way to get it done.
  6. From Brians FAQ: Special note for 40 S&W: Although Dillon "officially" recommends the Large Pistol Casefeed (Plate) for the 40 S&W, the 40 will work with either the Large or Small (Pistol) Plates. Considering that on your initial purchase may "save you a Plate," for a future caliber conversion. For example, if you plan to order a 650 in 40 S&W, and plan to convert it to 38 Super, order the Small Casefeed Assembly, initially, since the Super requires the Small Plate. You only need the small casefeed assy. The other parts you need are in your 650 caliber conversion kits. Trey
  7. From my understanding, the Lyman is a little on the loud side. I have the old Dillon CV-500, and a friend has the Cabelas tumbler, which is the Berry's tumbler, and his is not as loud as mine. I have also read that the Cabelas/Berry's is very durable. With any tumbler, be careful covering it as the motor needs airflow to remain cool and last. Trey
  8. Here are a couple of videos from where I shoot bowling pin matches. Gives you a little idea of how it works. Sorry that the second video started after the first shot. Trey
  9. I shoot a Stag, but LMT was one I was looking at. They have a great reputation. Trey
  10. First, I have a 650 with case feeder, but I will give you my observations. The case feeder itself is not loud. The brass tumbling around can be a little loud, but not bad. The case feeder keeps a certain level in the tube. There is a micro switch where the tube meets the case feeder. When the brass drops below that level, the motor kicks back in. I guess I am anal, but I count my brass as I am doing my inspection of it. I know how many I put in the bowl and run that many primers. I always end up with the same number of brass as primers. If you wanted to just fill the bowl and load, you can just cut off the switch when you are close to the end of your loading session. You can drop in cases manually if you need. So far my case feed has been 100%, I have never (knock on wood) had a upside down case.
  11. Thought I saw a few cases go in upside down. Went back and watched it again and saw I was wrong. Nice job.
  12. I'm shocked Merlin didn't just offer to buy it right here. I am sure he only needs to buy a few more presses! LOL.
  13. Check out this site for her. Says she has been on 5 blue press covers. http://www.modelmayhem.com/397994
  14. Welcome to the forum! I know you will find a lot of useful information and helpful people on here as I have. I am in Greenville, where are you from. Trey
  15. Just an observation. I fly R/C airplanes and have come across some nasty engines from when people leave them put up with fuel in them. The methanol, nitro, and namely the Castor oil in the fuel really gum up the engine. Ihad come across a sweet little Saito four stroke for cheap. It was froze up solid from the gum residue. The secret to get these engines clean? Ethelyne Glycol! Put antifreeze in a crock pot and simmer the little engine for about four hours (outside on the deck, never indoors!) and it looks like brand new. Now these engines are ABC or Aluminum, BRASS, Copper construction. There is no damage to them. With what someone posted about the ingrediants in the carpet cleaner, namely the propylene glycol, I assume it's the same cleaning reaction with the brass as when I clean these engines. Now I am not a chemist, but I can see where this would work well. Still have to make sure there is no Ammonia in the cleaner! Trey
  16. It has a pocket sewn on the inside? The little loop on the back right below the collar?
  17. +1 to the media seperators. I use the RCBS one and it gets all cases empty. Trey
  18. Try packing it in a ziplock with some dessicant packs. Like the ones that come in shoe boxes and about everything else we buy. Had a friend put a cell phone in with some and it worked after several days. Trey
  19. I will give another +1 for the Michelin tires. My wife and I have a '99 Accord and a '06 Odyssey that are on Michelins, the BMW is on the factory tires. I tried some other tires on the Accord and the car felt and drove a whole lot different, and not for the good. The ride was not as comfortable and as mentioned above, the tires did not wear evenly over their life. I went back to Michelin real quick. I know money can be tight, but this is not where you want to skimp. Trey
  20. Nice cake and congrats! My wife owns a bakery and we get some really crazy requests. It is amazing what can be done with a cake. She has done a hunting cake with Turkey feathers and shotgun shells all over it (all edible). She did an AR-15 not to long ago that I was really impressed with. The wife said her husband had asked for an AR for his birthday, so the cake was it. One of my favorites is this one, a duck! All edible but the head.
  21. Trust me Joe, I am always looking and listening. At Nall, it's impossible to keep an eye on everything, when you have 6 to 8 birds in the sky at any time. I think they ran 3 different flight lines this year. I have even had my own T-Rex have a glitch and come at me out of a hover. That one had me moving quick!!! A lot of people think they are just toys, but they must be respected.
  22. Joe, that is the one. I had a link to it on error401, but I guess he removed it. Seeing the video does not do justice to how hot that fireball was. Trey
  23. Chuck, Brother, I know you are right on that one. When I lived in St. Louis I lived next to the field where the McDonald-Douglas employees had built a pretty amazing RC airfield. I would go out on weekends and watch as horrifically expensive aircraft lovingly handcrafted over innumerable hours were routinely turned into expensive piles of RC parts and balsa half buried in the ground. I have always viewed this as a spectator sport only. The jets are outrageously expensive. Especially when they go in!!!!! I was at Joe Nall in 2007 when David Shulman crashed his Bandit. I was about 30 feet away and the fireball was intense. Here is a video of the crash. There was a better video, but I cannot find it anymore.Trey
