Thank you for the welcome, yes it does come from road racing bikes, didn't have the dough for cars.

It's funny, I've researched several topics on rifle & shotgun and it kept bring up this forum. Started browsing on a regular basis, and really appreciate that people here actually shoot and run their guns hard. I've competed before, but not at the level of some of the members here. Certainly, many of the techniques that I've learned for military/tactical/entry shooting were trickled down from top level competitors that always find more efficient ways to shoot fast and accurate.
