I am getting ready to purchase an AR style rifle for 3 Gun and was wondering if anyone is familiar with Lewis Machine and Tool, and if so specifically the 5.56 Defender Model 16. The price at my local shop is at $1200 with flip up sites 2 mags sling.Seems to have a great feel to it, really like the sop mod stock and the way it feels. I am just curious about reliability and preformance.

I am buying a XDM 40 to use for 3 gun and whatever else I come up with, would the 3.8 work or should I stick with the 4.5 for the longer barrel?

Hello all new to this forum and was wondering if I'm on the right track to start 3 gun. I am purchasing a Spikes Tactical M4 with a 1:7, should I change the twist to 1:9. Next I am looking to get a magazine extension for my Stoeger M2000 and lastly I am undecided if I should use my sig 226 or go with a Springfield XDM40.
