  1. I finally finished a match ahead of HV!!! It doesn't matter that he was shooting SS and I was shooting Open. I just need him to trainwreck more often. Bill
  2. I am! They cause me to flinch and miss targets. Wait a minute....it may not be the gloves. Bill
  3. I shoot a box stock Eagle 9mm in IDPA and a stock Trubor 9mm in USPSA. I had to do a little extractor tuning when I first got each of them, but they just run now. I don't know if a full custom build would help my scores any, but I have a lot of fun with what I have. YMMV Bill
  4. Dang, I have been happy with the stock STI grips on my guns. That must be why I am so slow! Bill
  5. Catfish is mean and his stages are EVIL. Now that that is out of the way...how can we make this better? I think the most time consuming thing is rifle management. We currently rack them and it just takes a lot of time. Other clubs leave them in the bag and put them back after a shooter is finished with the stage. This is very slow also! What works for ya'll with a cramped indoor range? Thanks for your help. Bill
  6. That is one cool looking blaster. Bring it to Double Tap and let's race. I hope you have as much fun with major 9 as I do. I don't have any issues with my stock Trubor and just shoot it as often as I can and I don't have to fight for brass. Bill
  7. Just a hair over 10,000. I can't keep up with High Velocity because he shoots faster than I do. I have picked up the pace since I got my open gun and switched to USPSA though. Bill
  8. Paul, that is one sweet looking blaster. I can't wait until I get to watch you have fun with it. HOA is just over the horizon with that new toy. By the way... I want to shoot it PLEASE!!! Bill

    The Fish

It was really cool to see you have a great day and have fun. Bill
  10. I have three Pro 1000's on my bench and make lots of quality ammo on them. I usually load at about 400 rounds an hour because I don't want to work harder than that. All you need is the kit and components. Thanks Bill
  11. The dark house will be a blast! It is only there to distract you from the shooting that needs to be done. Wear white gloves and shoes so you know where your hands and feet are. Bill
  12. I thought I was doing good with 5 gallon buckets...55gallon drums, I'm impressed. Bill
  13. The first time I met Jerry, he called High Velocity a "GAMER" for planning to shoot SSR at the Louisiana state match. He is just a neat guy, but you always look faster if you don't shoot behind him on a stage. Bill
  14. If Robert changes his mind and doesn't shoot SS High Velocity is going to come unglued. He agreed to go with SS because Robert said he was going to. I need more big sticks!!! Bill

You are dealing with the bad karma that results from trying to escape the DARKSIDE!!! Bill
  16. I started squad 25 and High Velocity jumped in with me. Who wants to play with the cool kids? Bill
  17. I went to the Air Armament Museum when my son was at Eglin for school. I could spend hours just looking and listening, but my wife wasn't as interested. I need to make time to check out some others. Bill

    MG vs Zero

I am just opening my second big box of MG 124 cmj. They have been great for me and I will continue using them for my 9mm Major. I have never used Zeros so I can't compare the two, but the MGs just work for me. Bill
  19. Carina, if you are going to JCSSA this Sat. I will bring my airsoft and let you play with it to see what you think. It is a SS 1911 and I have used it as a starting point for new shooters with great success. Bill

    The Fish

That sounds like a perfect plan and I want to watch you get there. It leaves more cookies for me. Bill
  21. Bad day Paul? No, you didn't have to deal with me so you couldn't have had a bad day. Now, I am dying to know what was so good you had to delete it. Or not, I may have caused it anyway. Steve is really special because he can shoot well and knows lots of "big words". Merry Christmas to all Bill
  22. Well BG, you picked the right toy to shoot both games. I used a 9mm Eagle to shoot ESP so I had to buy a TruBor in order to shoot USPSA. Yes, I had to. Your Eagle will be awesome at both games and you will find a very short learning curve. Good luck Bill
  23. Saturday was for shooting and Sunday was a great day to reload by the heater. I want to chase my dot around some more and am already looking forward to next weeks match at the Double Tap Ranch. Let's race Bill
